Raven glanced from Valkyrie to Skulduggery, her arms still crossed. "Not only the famous detective, but also Darquesse herself! I was quite enjoying the show."

She felt evil intent rising in her mind, attempting to lull her there with promises of peace and she clenched her fist, looking away. "Darquesse is a whole other person", she said in a quiet tone. "But she is still there. And she will destroy every last person on this pathetic planet in no time at all. It would be so simple...", she trailed off, into inaudible mumbling to

Skulduggery stepped in front of Valkyrie. There was no way he'd let Darquesse come back out due to some idiotic words from a stranger. Not after all the work he'd done to coax Vakryie back out. Skulduggery sent Raven a glare. "Well, pay up and we'll be on our way. We're busy people you know."

She shifted her weight from one leg to the other and ran fingers through her slightly tangled hair. She looked a mess, almost completely covered in drying blood; her skin, her clothes, her hair and smelt strongly of death. She lightly clicked her fingers and a small flame appeared in the palm of her hand, but she quickly put it out. It was traumatic, she had taken so many lives right there, had torn people apart. Suddenly, the loud sounds of Police sirens and Fire Engines were audible, heading that way, obviously attracted by the thick black smoke rising into the air. Maybe she should be arrested and locked up. She had killed those people.

She looked down at the ground, her leaf green eyes narrowing slightly. Valkyrie felt extremely weak, both mentally and physically; Darquesse had taken a lot out of her. It took a whole lot of effort to stand up straight without falling down. Not to mention the great struggle it had been yo get back in control. "Just go", she said quietly. "We haven't got time for you,", her voice had a subtle hint of anger in it, Darquesse was enraged.
