Taking a deep breath, she looked up at Skulduggery and nodded. She was trembling slightly. "I'm fine", she replied with a false smile. Her eyes suddenly caught sight of the houses Darquesse had set fire to and her eyes widened. "Oh no...oh no...", she mumbled. She could vaguely recall some of the things that had happened, but they were faint. "I did that...didn't I?...", she whispered.

She nodded, looking down at the ground. Darquesse was her, what was he talking about? She sighed and got to her feet. A small smirk slightly curved her mouth. Even though all those people were dead, she couldn't deny that letting out Darquesse was a nice reprieve.

Raven saw that the burning had stopped and frowned. She teleported closer and saw Skulduggery there, and a scowl creased her face.
