She hissed through her teeth and sharply turned away. Those last few words he had spoken had somehow gotten to her in a depressing way. Her hand holding the scythe slackened around it's handle and the weapon clattered to the bloodstaiNed floor. Something warm and wet slid down her cheek and, as Darquesse went to touch it, she realized it was a tear. That, wasn't her tear. It was Valkyrie. Oh god, even the thought of that girl made her annoyed. But, she couldn't let Skulduggery see the tear. He would exploit it as the opportune moment to give a heartwarming speech to bring back Valkyrie and, Darquesse hated those heartwarming speeches. She turned to walk out the door.

(I suck at this but...So Valkyrie somehow walked home to find that her entire family was slaughtered, and in her grief, she let Darquesse take over. Skulduggery is trying to get her back, a bunch of cleavers that he called over got slaughtered, Wisty is confused and just crashed into a wall thanks to Valkyrie. Yeah, me thinks that's it.)
Skulduggery~
"Come on." Skulduggery stepped in front of Darquesse. "You're my partner. I can't do anything without you, and YIU know it." Skildhgery lowered his voice. "Please, Valkyrie. Please."

She pushed him aside, though it was clear she was weakening. "I...", she sighed, unable to come up with a witty reply. Darquesse looked down, before an idea came into her mind. Clicking her fingers, she made a flame and tossed it onto the floor. Fire leapt up, eating away the room like lightning. She turned and walked out, down the stairs and out the door.

((*rolls over in laughter* hahahahahahahahaha!))

Skulduggery~
Skulduggery leapt back, and brushed the flames off his coat. Then, with a wave of his hand, he sent a stream of water that swallowed the fire in a moment, leaving smoke hanging in the air. Skulduggery glanced at Wisty. He had to go get Valkyrie back, but he couldn't just leave the girl here by herself, could he? He prodded her with his shoe. "Hey, you coming?"

She stepped outside, onto the street. Turning back around, she looked at her house, seeing thick black smoke pouring out of the upstairs window. It seemed like Skulduggery had put the fire out, but it had done it's job as a diversion so she could slip away. Apparently his little act had worked for Valkyrie and she was fighting. Very hard in fact.

It seemed like Skulduggery had put the fire out, but it had done it's job as a diversion so she could slip away. Apparently his little act had worked for Valkyrie and she was fighting.
