Trevor slowly regained consciousness. His head ached, so he couldn't help but groan. He reached up to touch his head to find that the injured area was covered by a cloth. That and he noticed that he was somehow moving. "What?" He mumbled and soon realized he was rather close to a lion. A lion! It was probably taking him home to eat him up for dinner. Since that was the first thought Trevor had, he began to panic and squirm in the hammock to attempt to get free. "Please don't eat me! I won't be tasty. I can help you find something else instead. Something with more meat on their bones!" He didn't even realize that the animal might now have understood him, but he was in a state of panic.

Tenek lifted his head, and then flattened his ears. He heard a deer. They weren't as apealing as gazelles, but they were easy to catch. He waited for the deer to walk into a field, where it was more open, and then he put on the speed. He shot forward, and before the deer even felt anything, it was dead. Tenek snarled lightly, in case there were vultures or bears or wolves or something like that.
After he had taken a few bites of deer, he was already full, and he let the circling vultures take the remains. He shook his pelt, ad then slunk back into the woods, watching his thin legs, and then stopping next to a lake to take a drink. He saw his reflection, and cursed himself silently.
As a cheetah, he was thin, because that's just how cheetahs are built. But, as he transformed, he noted that his gained powers as a cheetah caused him to lose muscle and weight. He was still pretty strong, and fast, too, but he was very thin. His brother had always told him that a skinny person was vulnerable, so Tenek was a bit on the edge, but he knew he was fast enough to escape almost anything. Luckily, he'd never have to fight in his life.
His sensitive ears suddenly picked up a noise. He turned his head, and saw the distinctive lumbering shape of a grizzly. His eys narrowed, and he shot up a tree. Hopefully, the bear wouldn't follow him...

Avalon snapped her ears back at the words he yelled obviously panicked, she slightly laughed at the thought that she would eat him. Avalon not trying to scare him sat down next to him and changed into human form. "Hello there, hows your head?" She asked as she unwrapped him from the tarp. "And im sorry I didnt mean to scare you I couldnt lift you so I thought of dragig you back to shelter so you could rest" she laughed trying to lighten the mood. "Oh im Avalon by the way, and what were you doing, I bet your new here?"

Trevor cringed when she reached toward him. "I'm fine. You didn't need to help me," he muttered in a stubborn tone. He rubbed his head and pulled his hand away to see if there was anymore blood. All of it seemed to have dried now. He just had a raging headache. But it would subside by nightfall. "I'm Trevor," he stated at last. "And I am. I don't know how to get out of here. I stepped through some sort of portal.That and I can change to animals now. Seriously. How can it not be a dream?" Trevor leaned back on his hands and sighed. "Guess we're both stuck here, huh?"

Alvaon was kinda shocked at his respoce, "well next time ill let you bleed out then" she huffed. "Stuck I think not!" She started in a annoyed almost mad voice "the portal pics who gets to come her its a privlage for thoues who have nothing for them in the other world, so dont see it as a bad thing. I mean ive been here a year and im doig great." She stated and was quiet for a moment then snapped her head in his driection and her gtone changed completly, "it seems you dont know verry much about here at all, it's a shapshifters world, you can control an emement and live off the land. Witch isant very hard when your In the right form the only thing you have to do is drink from the magic water pool." It took meer seconds and her voice went verry excited "wait you dont have a emement yet oh I love this Ill help you find it!" With that she stood up, dusted off her pants and held her hand out offering it to Trevor.

Moving around the forest she heard voices, a slight feeling of relief entered her. Changing direction she moved quickly towards the voices, seeing an exited girl offering her hand to an injured boy who was in a makeshift hammock she stood just behind one of the trees closest to them, wanting to know if they were friendly, as in weren't going to kill her friendly.

Trevor was kinda taken aback by her angry tone. Why was she mad? He hadn't done anything offensive. Or said anything like that. "Feels like I'm stuck. I'm not familiar with anything around here. Makes sense for me not to feel at home." He shrugged and glanced at her hand. "Element? What do you mean?" He cautiously grasped her hand and stood to his feet.

Tenek crept down from the tree when he finally believed that the bear was gone and then lay down in the soft, warm grass, closing his eyes, taking in the sunshine, and hoping that a deer didn't run him over. If it did, he would probably be done for.

Avalon wanted to ignore his comment cause honestly she felt bad this was the first person shes talked to in a year "sorry" she said quietly. Avalon then look at him and smirked "an emement of the land like mine is water, but there are many like darkness, light, fire." She slowly walked around him and back to her original spot. "We need to get you to the water pool, drink some think and you will know, and when you know take it own it and use it. Its a magical thing" she finished with a dreaming smile and her eyes closed she looked at him to see this facial expression. In the corner of her eye she noticed a girl looking them, she made the ground wet around her feet so much she sould sink into the ground alottle, wanting her to comout her self. For if she was shy then she didnt want to make her werry of them, She waited for an reaction

Feeling the ground under her dampen as she slightly sunk into the ground, causing water to leak into her blue running shoes and wetting her sock she groaned. Artemis hated wet socks, not having any other solution she lent against the tree she was behind and pulled off her shoes and socks, and shoving her damp socks into her equally damp shoes she stepped out of behind the tree, her usual confidence not lacking despite being barefoot in a foreign place. "I don't know how you did that, but I have the slight suspicion you did," She said to the other female as she lent against the tree she had previously standing behind and brushed the dirt from her shoes off her black jogging pants, "also, I'd appreciate some information as to where I am."
