Heatherpaw is a she-cat- with her elongated bones and pretty face, it is obvious from the moment you first see her that she is a female.

Heatherpaw's mother was a beautiful cream-coloured cat named Reedrose. She had a sweet, kind personality and every cat adored her. One day while on a patrol she met a rogue tom, called Viper. He was tall and handsome, with thick fur the exact colour of Heatherpaw's own, but he had a heart of stone. He lied to Reedrose, pretending to love her, while all the time secretly hoping to launch an attack on MapleClan. When the sweet she-cat told him she was expecting kits, he was so surprised he tried to kill her- but luckily a patrol was just passing and Reedrose survived. She gave birth to her kit, Heatherkit, and was filled with a longing for Viper when she saw the similarities in pelt colour. She snuck out to visit her mate- and was killed. Her Clanmates found her body the next day, and another queen took care of little Heatherkit. Now she is an apprentice, she wants to forget, but she keeps thinking that, because she is only half-Clan, she is not as good as the other cats and works twice as hard.

Heatherpaw felt shy and insecure as a kit, unable to have her own mother to play with, suckle from and talk to. She lived every day wishing for her ceremony and, when it finally came, she threw all her energies into training. After every session she is exhausted and tired, sleeping deeply and hardly having time to talk to any of her den-mates. She dreads becoming a warrior- she will have no training to absorb herself in- and once snuck out of camp as a kit to explore, but got scared and ran back. Her first piece of prey was eaten at a few weeks old, and she was walking within three days of birth. Her eyes opened almost immediately.

Heatherpaw is not shy, but she can be short-tempered. She is forever tired from her day training and rarely talks wih the other apprentices. She is first to wake, waiting for her mentor as soon as the dawn patrol has left, practising her hunting and battle moves in camp- and first to sleep. She would secretly love to talk to other cats more but she is so obsessed with being a half-Clan that she does not think she is 'worthy' enough, despite being born in the Clan. Other cats think of her as fairly unusual and different, but most do not blame her or her father-indeed, mot of the cats have forgotten.

Heatherpaw is a beautiful golden-brown tabby she-cat with light cream paws and chest. She has a soft, gentle green gaze and her fur is fairly thick, but not overly so. She has small paws and is fairly little for her age, although she does not act dainty or fragile, but like a clever and courageous she-cat. Her mucsles are powerful but barely noticeable and her tail is long and thick. She keeps her fur tidy, but is not extremely worried about her appearance.

Heatherpaw is a wonderful hunter; she has light, soft paws that make almost no Lund when she is stalking and she has a natural ability. She is also good at climbing trees, but not too high- she has a fear of falling, but doesn't tell many cats. She has skills in tracking, too, for her nose is finely-tuned and can detect many scents, even old ones. However, Heatherpaw is not very good at fighting, especially unnecessary violence. She cn use battle moves just fine but gets overwhelmed in the middle of a battle. In tight, dark places she has been known to panic and is often too quick to make judgements on other cats. She is relentlessly self-critical.

She is eight moons old, and still has much of her training left to do. She was apprenticed roughly two moons ago, but it seems much longer.

Prophecy cat? Oh, and llamacorns rule ^*^
