Riley walked over to the plate and took four pieces of bacon. Shoving them all into her mouth, the walked towards an open window. "I'm going for a little patrol-thing." She called through her mouth full, and did a running-leap out the window, snapping out her wings and soaring above the tree-tops.

He smiled at the praise and muttered, "But it worked, didn't it?" to Riley's comment. Ren looked over at Fang, then decided to throw on another serving of bacon just to make sure she wouldn't get mad at him.

I had six more pieces before finally stopping then shook my wings out getting most of the water off of them. "She better be careful."

She swallowed her mouthful of bacon as she banked left, then swerved and flew under the canopy, her blue-eyed gaze flicking back and forth, searching for any sign of danger.

(oops. I forgot to put Athena's 'power.' Its the ability to slightly turn invisible, like Fang.)

Athena Smiled at Ren's comment. "Make an extra serving for me, will ya?"

Storm stayed hiden beneath the trees, Making sure he wasn't visible to the sky.

He worriedly glanced out the window, giving a plate of ten more pieces of bacon to Athena. "She'll be fine. Riley can outfly almost anything." Ren got a towel and tossed it onto Fang's wet head. He cleaned up the mess of breakfast and soon the counter was clean again.

Riley swerved between the trees, flying about 5 feet from the ground. Seeing nothing at first, she wheeled around and flew in the direction she came from, looking more intently.

I tossed the towel aside leaving it on the floor and my eyes flashed a brighter blue for a moment and I ran out to the balcony and inhaled the crisp air. Something was off but I didn't know what it was. The scent was stale so whatever it was it had been around for quite some time. I cursed myself for not paying more attention and growled. "I don't know if now is the best time but my kitty senses are tingling you guys. It's probably nothing but it doesn't smell like nothing."

Ren walked out beside her, his raptor-sight taking over. He couldn't see anything, nor smell it. "You sure?" He saw Riley flying a while away.

Riley lifted her head to peer at the sky through the treetops. For some reason it entranced her. Up until she nearly ran face-first into a giant oak. "Holy crap!" She screeched, swerving at the last second and dodging the oak, but she got a scrape on her knee. She stopped suddenly and landed. "Dude what the freaking heck. Dumb tree." She huffed.
