He had to force it, but he giggled like a giddy schoolgirl, hugging Jinx too. He looked up at her with pure evil in his eyes, then looked over his shoulder at Ren with a normal look. "Thanks, dad~!"

"I hate life." My little declaration was probably an exaggeration but I still felt completely betrayed to a certain extent. Ren was supposed to be my trump card in this situation but he just had to agree with the little hellion known as Hiro. As I followed after Ren I whacked Hiro on the back of his head just hard enough for him to know he was in trouble but not hard enough to really hurt. "I know where both of you sleep."

Hiro ignored the soft blow to his head, reaching up and grabbing her hand. He wrapped his hand around two of her fingers seeing as her hands were way bigger than his, then latched his other grubby little paw onto the hem of Ren's jacket, a small smirk never leaving his face. Ohh, was he gonna have fun with this. "Well duh, you live with us," he said somewhat cheerily, but quiet enough so that no one but himself Jinx and Ren could hear.

All in five minutes my day had been ruined by two boys I loved to death. That was their only saving grace this time because had they been anyone else, they'd no doubt be dead. "Both of you are going to be in so much trouble later." The words were mumbled under my breath along with a few rather profane things but after my anger dissipated, I smiled softly wanting to at least make this act believable.

Hiro kept smiling on the outside but inside he knew he was in deep. He sighed and looked up at Jinx, a pseudo-apologetic look in his eyes, but honestly this was still too funny for him to be feeling regret. He'd put that emotion off for until he actually had something to regret, but in front of all these people he knew Jinx wouldn't do anything. He winked at her slightly before looking around the little store, trying to find anything they needed. Definitely cups he could hold, he remembered that much, and clothes, but he didn't really know what else they needed.
