Siki

I smile at them. What cuties. Its nice to know one loved couple stayed together before this all happened. I silently get up and walk towards a balcony I saw earlier.

Zero's words echo through my head faintly, over and over and over again. 'Ones who do not cry are too weak to feel.' 'Ones who do not cry are too weak to feel.' 'Ones who do not cry are too weak to feel.' What does that make me? Weak? I haven't cried in ages...but I'm not weak. I'm anything but weak....but this makes me think. Maybe I have a weak point. No. J get it together. Now. This is dumb.

At first, I drown out all words around me. But, I start to scare myself a little with that and listen to Siki talk. Trying my absolute best not to twitch my eyes, I mumble, "Nothing...I suppose..." not even bothering to return the question. Because I don't even care to know what's up with Siki. But then, something strange happens. I start to feel...bad. Muttering curse words at myself for doing so, I at last add, "What about you...umm...missy?"

I put my hand on my heart, as if flattered. "Oh, you actually answered!" I chuckled. "Well, miss conversationalist, I am doing just fine. However.." I whisper to her. "Do you think Alisa's alright?"

I roll my eyes, stiffly. "Don't flatter yourself too much." I mumble, then continue with, "Probably not." in an awfully cold tone. Emotionlessly. It seems as if I don't care at all. That isn't true. I tend to hide behind words, if that makes any sense at all. "We need her to spit out what's going on. We can't risk this. If she happened to get bit, we're all toast. Everyone would be in danger. We can't risk that. Since I'm no good at talking to people it seems, I suggest you should try and talk to her first, but I'll come with. You know...just in case you need me to make her spit out a few words." Yea, that last part was a lie. I want to come so I can stop feeling so useless. I feel like no one has been letting me help at all lately, and it's been driving me up the wall. I can't just sit back and watch. No. That's not what I do. That's not what I'm supposed to do.

"Well if we really need to play good cop bad cop I would have brought the costumes." I joke. Huh. For a minute it seemed like she actually cared. Now she has the same flat and boring tone as ever. It could be she was just bi polar. I shrug it off. "Should we solve this case now or give her time?"

I shrug then say, "Solve it now! I mean, are you crazy!? We don't have the time to waste a second, you naive little...." my voice trails off, as I start to go pale. "I...I'm sorry....I....have to umm...go...." I stumble on words, feeling extremely dizzy and lightheaded as I force back the tears. 'No. Not here.' I think to myself, forcefully.
