Tariana: Without a word I was out the window and gone in under four seconds. Although I didn't really know the castle's interior very way, I could climb down the wall without being seen in my sleep.

Kaidin nodded a little. "So I see," he replied slightly absently, almost as though the bounty hunter was thinking. "Time for your next test." He pointed to the fire.

The boy grinned and pet Lucifer a bit more. "You're a great horse, that girl back there is pretty blessed to have you as a friend," he pointed out.

Tariana: The garden was full of workers but I slipped in and walked around unseen, not allowing myself to be caught for a few more minutes before a gardner asked me if I was hungry. He led me to the dining room.

"Cooking ability. Whether you think I'm serious or not it is a real test because a lot of the time we're surviving, not running around catching people."

He grinned. "Now I really miss my horse. He was really sick but very, very clever and sweet," the boy explained. "His name was Robert."

Violet: I nod, walking into a tent and bringing out a bow and arrow. I walk off into the woods and bring down a few squirrels. I walk back to camp and skin them, cooking them on a roticery over the fire

Tariana: When I was brought into the dining room by the kind gardener I saw the prince, who, as I had supposed, had arrived before me.

Kaidin an the other men watched her, the men joking quietly amongst themselves and Kaidin pretending as though he didn't hear them.

The boy smiled again. "That's it; you're officially one of the awesomest horses ever," he decided aloud before looking the way he came, smelling something.

Taraiana: Before I sat I nodded a little, not speaking again until we were alone, since only the prince had heard me speak and all the rest thought me to be dumb.

Kaidin and the others tried it before nodding to each other. "Congratulations, Violet, you've obtained one of the easiest jobs: you will be the new cook."

"Well, as much as I would love to stay I should get back; it smells like they're cooking lunch and it's something good for once and if I miss lunch..." He trailed off before adding, "see you later," and walking away.
