Luke hissed at the wolf sliding back away from the pair. "LEAVE ME ALONE! I HATE YOU HUMANS!" He shouted still not remembering then raced away from them as fast as he could towards the forest.

Moon Stone sighed and looked at the girl. "I tried." He loped off, easily passing the Neko and jumped onto a huge rock. The wolf watched his pack circle the boy and sighed. Serves him right. Jessica shakily got up and ran to Shadow. She got on him bareback and rode into the woods. She ran right past the pack, not noticing them, and into the river.

Luke spun round trying to keep an eye on all the wolves surrounding him. It was too far to try and make a break for it! He spun quickly working out were the weakest point was. Suddenly his head started smashing and he fell to his knees. Trying to force his eyes open, the memories suddenly flooded back into his head. His eyes widened, "Jessica...." he whispered so no-one but himself could here, "Oh dear, I'm sorry!" He stood shakily back on his feet and prepared to face the wolves.

The neko ran outside, looking up at the sky, "Sun... Beautiful... Sun.." she smiled and started running down a street, trying to be quiet. She didn't even dare to look back to see if the men were following her, honestly, she didn't care either.

Shadow suddenly felt a twinge and he jerked his head up. His muzzle was still wet from drinking. He nudged Jessica, and she crawled back onto his back. The gelding whirled in the river, creating a small wave effect, and he leaped gracefully onto the bank. The gelding raced back through the woods. He squealed and reared above the wolves. They yelped and scattered. Gloria, the alpha female and Moon Stone's mate, barked and the wolves gathered around the rock. Are you going to run again, boy? she asked, in her pretty slightly musical voice.

Jessica sighed into Shadow's mane, and took in a shaky breath. Moon Stone growled and jumped off the rock. He motioned to his fighters, and they once again circled the Neko. "It does concern us when you are hurting our "sister"." the alpha male growled. He flicked his tail, and the wolves jumped. Jessica had not yet noticed what was going on.
