They pulled into the driveway soon after and Drew carried Arabella inside. Mara got out of the car. Drew unlocked and opened the front door.

Fang stepped out of the car, looking at the house. She held Mara's hand and followed Drew inside.

Mara looked around the huge, empty house.

Fang looked around the house. ''Now I understand why you want company. This place is deserted!"

Arabella sneezed and some dust flew up about her. Hearing the sound of a rat, she called out. "Hello? Hello, are you a ghost?" Her eyes widened as she twitched her ears.

"It's just a rat," Drew told Arabella. Mara hugged her sister again.

Arabella listened to Drew. "Then I'll go CATCH it because I want pets!" She was nowhere to be seen in an instant. A few minutes later, she came back with a small, white rat in her hands. "Say hello to Mr. Ghost!" She moved the rat's paw as if it was waving. Then she petted it and looked around for a cardboard box. Finding what she wanted, she put Ghost inside.

Drew smiled at her. She was so young.
