"Come on!" White called to the girls he was leading down to Wonderland. "We're nearly there! I'll introduce you to my cousin!" He stepped out of the rabbit hole and gasped. He knew that in Wonderland and in the human world the time passed differently, but at least 50 years had passed since he had last set foot here, apparently. He looked around, horrified. The Wonderland he had left was a warm, sunny place with friendly creatures everywhere. This place looked dreary and he couldn't see anything living. A cool breeze blew past, and he shivered. "What happened to this place?" He muttered. The silence was rather eery.
