Claudia has been described as brash, rude, antisocial and impulsive. While it is in a way true, it is far from being entirely accurate. She is brash and impulsive and she has a habit of rushing into things without fully thinking them through. Most of the time though, her brains help her get out of any trouble she might find herself in and if it doesn't, she kind of relies on her friends to help her out. She can be rude, as she has no problem telling people what she really thinks them. She's even been known to insert herself into people's chess games without their permission and make their moves for them.

She doesn't really relate to people her own age, or at least the age she looks. She doesn't think the way people her age do, and she doesn't really find the things they find interesting well... interesting. She's interested in computers and electronics and would much prefer hacking into something than gossiping over celebrities. She does enjoy the company of others though and would seriously pick company over being alone. When she allows people to get to know her, she's very witty and has a great sense of humor. She's able to lighten a moment with a witty quip, and she's very with pop culture and has no problem referencing it all the time. She enjoys talking and does tend to ramble on when she's nervous. This nervousness normally occurs around boys, or more specifically 'hot' boys - such as her former boyfriend Todd when she first met him. Before he found out she was a vampire, and tried to kill her. While she likes to think that she's self-reliant and independent, she really does need the approval of her friends. She is seriously intelligent, which most people don't know when they meet her... Or even after they've known her for a while. Her IQ is genius level, and even though she's never gone to college, she has a way with computers and electronics in general. She's proud of her skills and often boasts about having 'mad' hacker skills.

Claudia was born in New York on September 21 1832. She lived and watched as New York grew into what is it today. Her brother Joshua died of Cholera, and her parents moved her out to New Orleans, until the epidemic had dissolved. She was 10 when she moved to New Orleans. There she grew up the rest of her childhood, and into her teenage years. When she was 17 she met Elijah and his family in a bar there. She and Elijah became friends and hung out a lot. When her parents died by the hands of a vampire and that vampire attacked and almost killed her, Elijah saved her. Yes saving her meant turning her into a vampire but he didn't want her to die. She had her whole life ahead of her, or at least a whole afterlife ahead of her. Elijah helped her adjust to Vampire life, teaching her to feed without draining, how to hide her Vampire self from humans, how to compel. All the basics. Claudia, once she knew how to control herself, moved back to New York and once she knew her friends were still alive, she left to travel. She went to the UK, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Austrailia, and Italy. She lived in Italy for a couple of years, trying out High School there. Once people started to get curious about her, she erased herself from all the records she could find and travelled back to America. She lived in Los Angeles in 1980 and worked on a horse ranch being a groom and a vet, and taking pictures for celebrities and models and whatever other jobs she could find to make some cash.
