Raquel shrieked in rage, diving down upon the cronie, talons reached for his shoulders. She latched them deep into his body, one sharp talon tearing his heart open as she gripped him tightly and lifted, watching in grim satisfaction as he gave a gurgled scream and let go of Kilou. She didn't think of watching for others as she flew high into the sky, carrying the not-yet-dead cronie. She stopped above the treetops of the towering redwoods, then grinned maliciously and let him go, watching his body fall to the ground. A faint thud reached her ears from the sky, and it brought pleasure to her ears.

Kilou fell to the ground gasping when the cronie released her, but she she wasn't out of their grasp for long. A mob of about 15 cronies swarmed on her, lifting her up and covering her mouth. The held a couple knifes to her, so she would thrash around, but she did anyway. She cried out muffled sounds of protest but they didn't let her go..

Will jumped to his feet within the cave hearing Kilou's scream, he looked at Austin, whom he knew would be angered as well as worried. He stepped out carefully, hiding himself as though blending with the forest. He walked slowly, and looked back to see Alec standing at the cave entrance, a worried look on her face, but he turned away, walking slowly. He climbed a tree nearby, and looked down seeing the cronies surrounding Kilou. He was worried to help but knew that it could be worse not to. He saw the glint of the knives, and in almost an instant, vines bound the hands of those in possession of them, keeping them from harming Kilou. Working further, he bound all their hands and feet to the ground with vines, but did no more.

Austin heard the screams and it made him snap. His eyes darkened as he shifted quickly. In the blink of an eye, and a blood curdling scream filled the air as something leapt at one cronie before dragging him mercislessly into the darkness. A muffeled scream and suddenly it ceased, the scent of blood pulsing freshly through the air as some more cronies dared to follow their fallen partner, their screams following his own with the blood curdling howl again. The tears of flesh and the cry of wounds and the scents of fresh blood spilled through the air as Austin's claws ripped their felsh open and his teeth as well, all with merciful snarls and barks as more cronies tried to help their already fallen brethern. He showed no mercy, within moments he was covered in their blood and very little of his own.

Alec couldn't stay behind any longer. When she arrived at the scene she saw Will in the higher tree, leaning against it, while covering his eyes as though in shame. She sighed, but jumped back when she saw Austin covered in blood. She sprouted her wings, flying up to join Will, tears once more coming out. She knew they were evil, that they had threatened Kilou, and probably would've killed her, yet she couldn't understand why. She landed lightly and Will looked up at her for a moment, and she slipped, her foot missed it's step and she almost fell. He reached out quickly, grabbing her arm, pulling her into him. He held her for a moment, and Alec seemed to melt, as though Will had an effect on her that she couldn't explain. It seemed that everything didn't matter, and that for a moment she was happy. But she realized that she might be hurt, she pushed away slowly, so as not to be offensive and sat down on the branch. Looking down, she held out her hand and made a motion as though she were sprinkling something, and it began to rain in that area.

Raquel shrieked her war cry as she rent her rage upon the ones that Will had tied to the trees, cutting their bonds before beconing them forward, then obliterating them in seconds. Fire was all around her, flashing out and snapping like lava-hot whips, lashing the arms off of this cronie, then the legs off of another. Dismemberment was her specialty this evening, and she was serving it out to the best of her ability. Her large, sharp talons were soon dark with many layers of cronie blood, as was half of her beak. Her eyes were tinted with the red of bloodlust, and there was no stopping her now.

Kilou collapsed to the ground, free of the cronies grasp. She quickly got up and looked up at Will in the tree. "Thank you.." she said grinning at him. Then she noticed something weird. There were still cronies around, but the were paying her and Will no mind. They were surrounding the cave, where ear splitting screams and the sound of a savagely angry animal ringing through the air. "Austin.." She said breathlessly, and darted towards the cave. With a slight flick of her hand, Kilou's eyes flashed black and the cronies surrounding the cave disappeared, swallowed totally by the darkness. Carefully, she walked to the entrance of the cave, looking inside. "Austin.." She whispered.

Austin's muscles were tensed and pulsing it seemed. His teeth bared and glinting in the light of the moon as he gave another blood chilling howl, daring the more groups of Cronies to come, eyes glinting with bloodlust like Raquel's as it dripped savagely with saliva off his teeth and off his claws, covering his black fur as carcasses lay scattered around him. He stared wildly, like he didn't know any of them. He wasn't himself, he was a wolf. A pure, savage animalistic wolf. He looked at Kilou, but made no move to her, a growl still in his throat as his muscles were still tensed, staring past her.

Will smiled lightly, looking down at Kilou. He nodded slightly, showing that he'd heard her, and followed her gaze back at the cave. He knew that Austin was in a fight with the cronies, but again was worried to interfere. Alec looked at him with a worried gaze and leapt down, catching herself midway in flight, landing softly. The rain continued, drenching the world, as though a vain attempt to drown the world of its troubles. Alec ran, her light feet making barely a sound on the forest floor until arriving near the cave, finding the area covered in blood. She almost screamed, having to look away for a moment, until Will arrived beside her. Alec collected her strained courage and formed a tornado of water that grew, in her hand, as she stepped into the cave, Will beside her.

Kilou stared right back at Austin, her gaze steady showing no fear. She glanced around them, dead bodies laying everywhere, and what was left of the cronies were running for their lives back to the circus. "They are gone now.." She whispered to the others, her being one of the few without blood lust right now..
