"Let her be" he murmured and nodded towards the cottage. He flicked his eyes over the dagger and his lips quirked up marginally. Interesting....he thought to himself as he kept to the shadows and listened to the night air. His gaze briefly swept over the black stallion nearby with a bit of a curious air about him but he said nothing and instead switched his attention back to the female Ghost in front of him. His cloak was back and off his shoulders to expose the front of his body, the width of his chest still spanned by dark grey cotton. The skin that was exposed was a healthy tan with flecks of metallic grey here or there still clinging to him. "Come away with me if you wish to talk but let the girl have her privacy"

She sheathed her dagger and slowly strode away from the door, Spirit following behind like a puppy. He put himself inbetween the strange guy and Selene, not trusting the other.

Cadyn laughed softly at the actions of the horse, the sound echoing eerily in the woods as he lead them deeper into the bush. He wanted to be far enough away from Ysmay's cottage that the female wouldn't sense them. The lass deserved a rest after her work today and if he admitted to himself...she impressed him a bit. He shook these thoughts from his head as he walked silently through the deepening shadows, seeming to float over the ground as his gait turned more predatory. Despite his poor connection with the Earth, this was one of the few places he felt more in his element. Flashes of fur and movements in the darkness signaled a curious animal or two, looking in on their progress.

Spirit snorted, pawing the ground as he sensed other creatures nearby. Selene stroked his mane, not sensing anything.

Cadyn turned to face her once more after they were a suitable distance away. He took a moment just to physically and magically go over the female...after all just because she was a Ghost didn't necesarilly mean that she had magic. "What is your name?" he finally asked.

Ysmay blinked as a knock echoed from her door. She paused, her brilliant eyes locked on the door. She wasn't in the mood for talking, or really doing anything anything. The girl waited to see if there was another knock, but when there was none she let out a sigh of relief. She looked around her room and cursed herself for her stupidity. She hadn't employed her silencing spells. No wonder why the person had come aknocking. She employed the dormant spells now, a brilliant green flashing from the cracks in her walls and door before she settled back down to sleep.

She regarded him with wary blue eyes, but answered the question. “Selene. And this is Spirit.”, she gestured to the magestic black stallion.

Cadyn nodded in acceptance and swept another critical glance over the Ghost... "What are you up to?" he asked almost absentmindedly as he comfortably leaned back into a tree. He cocked his head to the side in a canine-like manner as he kept his senses on alert. Even going so far as to send out pulses of magic that allowed him to register the movements around them.
