(Okay I'm a bit confused as to what to do since Cade's asleep but I think I have an idea.

)
As Cadyn slept his mind or rather his conciousness expanded outwards and subtly touched each of the Ghost's minds. It was something he was completely unaware of and when he awoke he forgot everything he had seen. It was just a show of his strength of magic that while it was quite large, he was still unaware he had so much. That is why despite the fact that Cadyn should NOT be anywhere near exhausted of magic, his mental limitations he set himself prohibited him from using his full power. It was an interesting matter at that, the power of the mind itself. After all some would say that this was the source of most magic, an extension of one's will that took discipline and experience to meld it properly. Some were more inclined to certain spells and that is what formed the classes they fell in (fill in blank but you mentioned Battle Mages earlier..they would be offensive-aggressive).
A wraith of sorts formed and skirted around through the shadows within the city as it followed the ghost it had met earlier, Ysmay. The vaguely man-shaped shadow watched curiously, silently and over all unnoticed by others. (Please let me know if this is getting too out of hand.

I did try and point out the weaknesses to this earlier...)
