The Gate of Stars

You're an average high school student when one day, you learn about a new club that's supposed to travel to different worlds. You think that means they travel around the world a lot but you decide to check it out anyways.
Turns out it's a group that actually travels to different universes! After signing papers and pledging secrecy to the group you are able to join and the members give you a necklace with a gem as the pendant. Each necklace contains different parts of the gate that allows the group to travel. Meaning that if you lose that necklace while away on an explore, you, the group, and any stragglers are stuck there.
This RP is the collection of all the groups travels and the different dangers they encounter while away.

Rules:
1) all of Tess' rules apply!
2) limit of 3 characters.
3) your character can either be a traveler or someone stationed back at school (a director) that monitors the groups status and is there to receive new members.
4) please post at least once every other day. It's difficult to keep it going if someone never posts.
5) it's an RP so get some romance, enemies, drama etc. going. This will make it more interesting!
6) don't make your characters fall in love with each other. This cuts them off from the rest of the group.
7) have fun! ^_^

Description: she's the traveler's leader but is slightly shy when it comes to strangers. The gate used to travel was passed down through her family and no one ever had a use for it before her.
History: her parents divorced when she graduated 5th grade and she hasn't seen her mom since. Her brother was arrested three months ago for rape and she doesn't talk to him anymore.

The club Gateway to the Stars was brand new. I had gotten the room and was now setting it up. Putting up posters, bulletin boards and pictures of the Gate. I stood back and admired my work. "And that should do it!" I smiled and continued to adjust things here and there.
