France chuckled softly. "Sure, whatever you say, mon cher," he purred in reply, seeming quite unfazed by most of Arthur's attempts to ruin his mood. At the other's next words, he hummed. "I know, but I think romance seems to be your favorite genre... Could that possibly mean you're compensating for the lack of love in your own life?" he asked him, and his tone was hard to decipher; it was hard to tell whether he was teasing or merely curious, but his eyes indicated that it was the latter. He then rolled his eyes, sticking out his tongue for a brief moment. "Well, I'll have to ask you then," he mused, then laughed a bit at the other's inquiry, looking around the room. "Ah... Well, I didn't really notice, either... It must've been while we were talking or else we'd have probably left as well." Suddenly thinking of something, he looked back to England. "Are you still planning to sleep in my dorm tonight? Or have you decided that you're too proud and want to spend the night with Russia and without sleep?" he teased lightly, smiling a tad.
★O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
★O beautiful for pilgrim feet,
Whose stern impassion'd stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America! God mend thine ev'ry flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!
★O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved,
And mercy more than life!
America! America! May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness,
And ev'ry gain divine!
★O Beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam,
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
