France opened his mouth to change the subject again, but not before England had already spoken. He glowered at the Englishman quietly, a small pout forming at his lip. "We're not true to it at all... But, merci, I suppose," he told the girl, slightly surprised by her reaction, then turned to England again, a small smirk pulling at the corner of his lips. "But if you're trying to say you'd prefer me to be true to it, then I suppose I don't have a choice, hm?~" Just to tease the Brit, he reached behind him and quickly groped him before pulling his hand away. "Honestly, though... With that smirk you're giving me, one would think you're trying to get a hint across," he added, grinning at the Brit.
★O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
★O beautiful for pilgrim feet,
Whose stern impassion'd stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America! God mend thine ev'ry flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!
★O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife,
Who more than self their country loved,
And mercy more than life!
America! America! May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness,
And ev'ry gain divine!
★O Beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam,
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
