The World Of Winged Gills

STORY:

*Pad, pad pad.* You step into sunlight. Glancing around, it is a pretty meadow with a puple sky. Where IS this? As if sensing your thoughts, a creature steps out of hiding. "Welcome to The Winged Gills meadow!" Wait, it looked like... "You are a wolf!" You stammer. "A WOLF? I am not! I am a Winged Gill and you are in MY territory." She pauses and looks at you. "Come on to my world! Oh, and my name... its Sylvia."

Winged Gills are a rare breed of Wolf. They have angel wings and fishlike gills. Their pelt can be any color and they can have many patterns. They will rotate their three tails around in a circle almost like a motor. That will help them move fast and cacth their prey. They are omnivores (will eat anything) but they love to eat small animals like rabbits and mice. Occasionly, but not often, the bigger ones will go after humans if they come too close.

"Um...." A small she wolf stammers. "How did I end up here?"

Story: "Run!" The he-winged gill growled. "I cant.... my pups... THEY ARE COMING!" She wailed. Just then, some hunting dogs exploded into the clearing. "GO!!!" He howled, before throwing himself in front of the beast. He did not fly away, but earned time for three pups to be born. But soon hhe was no more, and the dogs kept coming and two pups kept howling and soon the she-Winged gill and two of the pups were... gone. The other pup looked dead to the dogs and before they got to it a large blue hole opened and swallowed the pup whole. No Winged gill belonged to earth, so they were retrieved. At least, the pup was and was given the name Shadow of Destiny.

Has nightmares of her exile from ordinary wolf hood, she was born with three tails and wings which caused her pack to believe her cursed, at 2 moons of age they banished her...she walked alone for several moons...only to one day stumble into Wing Gill Medow.

"Well Shadow, may I call you that? You have misteriosly dropped from the sky!Odd way to come into this world! I am wondering about you? Anything else you would want to tell me about yourself?" Sylvia said kindly

Shadow Spun around in surprise at Sylvia's voice.

Shadow just stared at Sylvia, trembling slightly.

"Its ok, I wont hurt you. By the way, what rank would you like?" Sylvia said

Finally Shadow frowned. "Rank? Like Warrior, Healer Kit, Apprentice, Deputy and so on?

Sylvia laughed "Finally, you speak! Yes little one!"
