Anubis heard more noises, and they had become annoying. He got up, frowning, his eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. Walking out of his room, he realized he didn't have a shirt on. He shrugged and shut the door behind him. The Egyptian walked slowly down the hall, ear twitching as he followed the noises.

Katie completely fell out of her chair and landed on the floor, laughing slightly harder. Reaching up, she blindly felt around until she closed her laptop and grabbed onto it. Opening one of the drawers to her desk, she put her laptop in, still laughing. Closing the drawer, she managed to stand up. Thank god she had started to calm down now, and she was laughing normally now.

Anubis could now distinguish laughter, humming, and rummaging through a desk from the noises. They were very close now and, with a start, he realized they were coming from Katie's room. He stood outside the door, confused. The patient lifted one arm up, hand curled into a fist, poised to knock, but stopped a few inches from the door, mouth slightly open and wondering what he would find and say.
