((Heads up, I'm not really in a writing mood... Bad post is bad. -_-))
Sorrow gasped as the memory faded, his breaths short and ragged as he opened his slightly dazed eyes. It was all so vivid now, the beating, the culprits themselves... Well, it was a bit much to take in all at once. Though, now he hurt much less and instead felt the constant small ache since the attack, breathing out shakily in relief. He looked up to see Nera's face in the centre of his vision, concerned. Oh, I'm fine. Just on my knees in pain... What do you think? is what he wanted to say, feeling rather irate. However, he simply slowly stood himself up with the support of a tree trunk and wiped the sweat glistening on his scarred forehead. "I remember everything," he croaked. "I, um, remember the... I remember what happened... earlier today..."

"Yeah, why not," Ignis said, shrugging.
Bozo snorted. "Well, I'm sure he would 'ave a problem-"
The elder girl patted her friend on the back, her hand radiating heat which made her friend grunt and promptly shut his mouth. She then hummed, thinking what she could say. To be frank, she wasn't too bothered about Joshua and knew he wouldn't go tell on the Guardians... well, she hoped not. She was the most confident and arrogant person you could ever meet but this immortal appeared to be an enigma. She was most intrigued by him. Besides, if he did get suspicious and go and gossip she was sure she'd have no problem setting his very striking green hair on fire.
"Well, for starters it's the most interesting thing that's happened in at least a century. " she said light-heartedly, chuckling. "I just wanted to get an idea on your character. You see, if you're not a complete idiot then you have the idea that there are good people and bad people according to those stupid Guardians." She smiled brightly, but it did not reach her eyes. "Basically, they don't like us because we weren't born good. Truly, I wanted to see if you're like at, if you're with them. I suppose this doesn't make much sense, though... Have you heard of centers, Joshy?"

Spike stretched her hand out further to find that it went through the dog, retracting it immediately. She gasped and then the corners of her lips curled into a small smile, young eyes filled with wonder. Turning her attention to the creature, she gestured for more illusions, thinking the idea to be simply brilliant.
