Taika giggled. "Jeez, guys are so stupid so times. Neither of you will ask, because your pride won't allow it. Just agree that forming a contract will benefit you both or something." She suggested.

"I like my pride, it's a funny word." Nathaniel looked quietly at Taika for a few moments, "Fine, it would benefit me if I was in a contract."

"It would benefit me as well." Nyoka replied begrudgingly.

Taika

Taika smiled happily. "See how easy that was?"

"And you're willing to pay the price of your soul for a contract with me?" Nathaniel asked, rather surprised.

Nyoka shrugged. "Sure, why not?" Although it might not look like it, he had put a lot of thought into the decision.

Nathaniel frowned, but offered his hand to shake as if they were forming a business deal. "Then that would make me your servant until you die. Or until you release me."

Nyoka shook Nathaniel's hand. "That's fine. And be warned- I don't plan on dying anytime soon." He half-joked. "By the way, my name's Nyoka. Nyoka Ryuu Jin. You?"

"That's alright, contractors can get by eating one soul every few centuries...I'm Nathaniel Cawson. Or Nate if you like."

"Which one do you prefer?" Nyoka asked. "And what's your name?" He looked at Taika.

Taika

"I'm Taika Morgan Rukin. And Nate's older sister."

"I prefer Nate..." He glanced at Taika curiously, "I'm twenty-one, you're seventeen, you're not fooling anyone by saying you're older. Give it up little sis."
