{Does Nathaniel has a contract yet? He could make one with literally anyone. Demon Hunters and contractors are actually probably on better terms than contractors and demons.}

Nyoka

"Yes, you could. Although I probably wouldn't answer- You might report back to your master or whatever you contractors have. I don't particularly feel like getting into a fight with a demon right now."

Nathaniel raised his eyebrows, "I do not have a master, contractors don't have any master other than the human they serve and since I don't have a contractee, I have no master."

{Absolutely. They should meet up and play cards sometime.}
{He could make a contract with Nyoka if you'd like.}

Nyoka

Nyoka snickered. "Well, that's a pity. Contractors are pretty useless without a contractee." He knew he probably shouldn't be making fun of contractors, since one saved his butt earlier that day, but he just couldn't resist.

"And demon hunters are pretty useless without their arms and legs. Or perhaps their last clip for their gun." Nathaniel shrugged.

Nyoka

"You'd be useless without your arms and legs, too." Nyoka replied. He was a little surprised Nathaniel knew his gun was empty, but didn't let it show on his face. "And only a stupid Demon Hunter would go out without more than one weapon."

"Touche. But I still have my tarot deck. You just have pointy things." He smiled a little and picked up the card he'd dropped on the floor earlier.

Nyoka

"Pointy things? Really?" Nyoka sneered. "And it's not like you pose any threat to anyone without a contractor. With an actual contractee, you might be sort of a threat, like that girl I met earlier. Without? Pathetic." Nyoka added, thinking about how the contractor girl had stopped the fight without even actually fighting.

Nathaniel titled his head to the side with a slight smile. "If you're trying to make me cry for a contractee, it's not going to happen. I will accept a contractee when I'm asked if I want one, not by tricking people into it."

Nyoka snickered. "Like I'd want to make a contract with you. Frankly, you bug me. A lot." Nyoka turned to walk away. "And since you burned what I was looking for, I don't have any purpose here."

Taika

Taika jumped down in front of Nyoka. "Darn it, where did you go?" She snarled, looking around. Then she noticed the other two. "Oh, it's the guy from earlier! And you, Nathaniel! You guys have a contract or something?" She exclaimed, sounding a lot more cheerful.

"No I don't have a contract with him, he seems to think I want one." Nathaniel shrugged a little as he lent back against the wall. "Which, technically I do, but I refuse to beg for one."
