"Human, you are going to survive for a very short time if you don't know what a demon is. Or a Demon Hunter for that matter. Neither one is a friend of humans." Taika laughed sarcastically. "Actually, the only friends humans have would be us Contractors. How unfortunate for your species."

"Yes, it was quite funny. I had a good laugh later."

Luka

Luka led the way to a small club in the bad part of town. He spoke to the bouncer for a couple of minutes, before pushing the door open. "Ready for this?" He muttered to Liberty. "I hope there aren't more than 40. I pass out if I use too much electricity, even with my staff."

Taika

"So what's it like being a human? Especially in a city full of Demons and Demon Hunters? I doubt you can protect yourself." Taika asked Sammy.

Kayla smiled, "Ah, right. Umm... Thanks? I guess," she said, heading off down the street. ((And only because I have no clue what else to write.))

"A... contractor? What's that?" Sammy suddenly thought she was probably going to regret asking that.

"A specialized type of demon who will fight and protect someone in exchange for blood. Don't you have one?"

Sammy was getting nervous. "No..."

"Ah, how unfortunate. You don't know how to fight, either, correct?"

Kayla stopped and turned, "What is your name?"

"My name? It's Nazar. Nazar Seth Angelo. What's yours?"

Liberty Anne Westbridge

Liberty nodded, stepping past Luka into the club, "Feel sorry for those of us who do not yet know what their powers are." There was a knife attached to a strap that went around her wrist, and another on her left ankle, a handgun hid in her pocket and if worse came to worse she was pretty good at taekwondo. She'd never really bothered about figuring out her powers which was something she regretted terribly.
