Kayla smiled, "That's so cool.... I have no clue how to use my power," she muttered to herself, momentarily forgeting that Seth was there.

Seth

"You'll figure it out. At least yours is apparent. You don't even want to know how long it took me to figure out what my power was!"

Kayla jumped, "U-uh, right, yeah..." she shook her head, "How long, roughly?"

Seth

Seth counted something out on his fingers. "Maybe around 450? AFTER I found out every demon had an ability. So 450 years of searching. No one had a handy power to find it out quickly, like I do now. Most demon's powers show themselves eventually, but mine wasn't apparent right away."

"I could imagine how annoying that would have been," Kayla murmured.

Seth

"It was quite annoying. The times I wanted to put an arrow through someone's head during that time is larger than I would like to admit. I was the only demon my age to not have a power. They used to tease me about how lame my power was, too, until I, er, 'borrowed' their powers."

Kayla laughed, "Wish I was there, that would have been amusing."

Luka

Luka thought about that for a second. "Well, it's quite early in the day, so probably not to many. 20? 30? Maybe even 40? Not such a big deal."

Liberty Anne Westbridge

Liberty nodded and gently held Luka's hand before giving his hand a light squeeze. "Lead the way then." She threw the wrapper from around the ice cream into the waste bin they walked past.

Sammy glanced at the girl-if she was one- over her shoulder. She creeped Sammy out, but still Sammy didn't leave. She probably should have.

"Yes, it was quite funny. I had a good laugh later."

Luka

Luka led the way to a small club in the bad part of town. He spoke to the bouncer for a couple of minutes, before pushing the door open. "Ready for this?" He muttered to Liberty. "I hope there aren't more than 40. I pass out if I use too much electricity, even with my staff."

Taika

"So what's it like being a human? Especially in a city full of Demons and Demon Hunters? I doubt you can protect yourself." Taika asked Sammy.
