Taika sighed. "It's not like you really have a choice to disobey." She muttered, sighing. "Fine, then." Taika picked out a card and it transformed into the black and white scythe she typically used. "It'll just be easier for me, I suppose. Although, I can't show you all my tricks if I'm not attacked back."

"I will not attack you." Nathaniel shook his head. He watched his sister quietly, hoping that he wasn't about to be beaten to a pulp the first time he saw his sister again after a long while.

Ebony came out of the bookstore-FINALLY. Xander almost complained, but that would violate his contract. "Okay, I'm done," Ebony told him, already digging through the bag.
"Great," he said, taking her arm and carefully guiding her in the opposite direction from where he could sense Taika.

Instead of using her scythe right away, Taika instead threw a short dagger. It became almost a blur as it moved, heading right towards Nathaniel's stomach. "Remember, it won't hurt you. You can't feel pain here- It's just sort of a weird sensation."

No, Takia was right, it didn't hurt. Not physically anyway. Nathaniel was a little upset inside however that after not seeing his sister for so long, all she wanted to do was harm him. He got a good grip on the dagger, gave it a sharp tug, pulled it out of himself, and let it fall to the floor.

Taika snapped her fingers and the dagger turned back into a card. "Are your fighting skills really this rusty? The Nate I knew would have been able to dodge that." Taika always had a rather fiery temper- She always loved to pick fights. And she wasn't very good with other people.

Nathaniel frowned at his sister, "I told you that I wasn't going to fight you, and you still want me to do so. I'm not going to, end of."

"Fine, then." Taika sighed, just giving up. She leaned over to pick up a card and the scenery reverted back to the park they had been standing in before. "I've got to go check up on my master." She announced, then darted away.
