Shi raised a dark brow.

"Only a friend...?" he asked.

He paused, before moving onward with other conversation. He'd rather not have her shut down, and he spoke before she could reply to his question.

"Liam yeah? He seems alright, what species is he?"

"Y-Yeah, only a friend!" She smiled, but it had a hint of sadness in it. She knew that Kyoki would probably never date a girl like her. She was a Lycan, a predator of the woods, a slave of the moon. Mary sighed and nodded. "Liam's an Electric elemental."

Kyoki soon came back with some cream puffs and a tray of what seemed to be Irish stew. He smiled at the tantalizing taste it was giving out and sat down on the sofas, and yelled out at Shi, Syo and Mary,"Hey come 'ere you guys! Aren't you going to buy something to eat than to talk?" He smirked at them, waiting. In the meanwhile, he busied himself with eating his stew, enjoying the taste of meat on his mouth. Hey, who said that Lycian couldn't eat meat?

"Oh, hi Kyoki!" She said quietly, sliding into the seat next to him. "Mmm, that smells good!" Mary licked her lips, the meaty scent overtaking her. "What is that?"

Kyoki blinked his eyes and shifted to give her more space as he moved his food away from her. Though it had been a few months, Kyoki still couldn't get used to Mary's advances. She reminded him of one of his stalkers that used to do that to him, until he got annoyed and used his status to banish her. That was something he did not want to remember at all. He preferred not to have others attempting to get a chance into his heart. He hated it whenever girls tried to get close to him by asking meaningless questions, no matter how nice he was, there was always a limit.

Kyoki took quick bites of his food, speaking as he did," Hullo," He paused as he kept the cream puffs away in his jacket folds,"Its just some Irish stew. Nothing much~" He smiled gently, and focused on his food, and then nodded at her saying," Go get something to eat."He raised his voice and turned to Shi and Syo,"You too guys! Hurry! We still gotta pack!" He yelled out, and continued his munching, ignoring those around him.

The wolf rolled it's eyes and began to speak, mouth not moving. "Lunch" Nikki snarled. Her tail flicked.

Shi wandered over to Kyoki after Mary, nodding and ordered a big portion of Mexican Spice-Rubbed Rib Eye Steaks with Lime Butter and Grilled Chicken Breast, wrapped in Bacon, Cheddar Cheese and covered in BBQ Sauce. He sat beside Kyoki and wolfed down the meat, his stomach almost singing in joy. He ate fast, swallowing large chuncks of the food, trying to balance the ravenous hunger in his stomach with manners. He managed to eat without making too much of a mess, but his lips had a mixture of both sauces on it.

He wondered if Kyoki would ever think of Mary in the relationship sense. She was nice, and Kyoki deserved a nice girl. He would talk about it when it was only him and the Lycian.

"Roger that," he said when he mouth was empty, responding to the words about packing.

She nodded quietly and slid out of the seat, as if sensing he didn't want her there. She murmured a soft good-bye to Kyoki before shifting to wolf form and padding outside. Mary sniffed quietly and sought out a new space to sleep and think, to be alone with her own thoughts. She sighed quietly and finally sat on her haunches.

Kyoki nodded happily at Shi and watched quietly as Mary slid out of her seat quietly, as though not wanting to be there anymore. He sighed inwardly as she went away into the outside gardens. He couldn't help it to hear her disappointment as she muttered a soft goodbye and disappeared, leaving Shi and Kyoki eating there. Kyoki shook his head tiredly. Though he could understand Mary's feelings slightly, he couldn't help but feel uninterested in her. Besides, he would have a planned marriage when he got older due to his status, and he really didn't have time, being an assassin and all, he needed someone to keep up with his personality, and not just stand there for him to protect. Too much of a hassle. Shi was like his older brother that he never had, along with Syo, the youngest 'brother' and most immature of the group, though he'd never say that aloud or risked getting hit.

Sighing rather loudly, Kyoki turned back, and listlessly prodded his cream puff with a finger, his eyes troubled as he pushed the now empty bowl of stew around the table, thinking. What do I do? Deciding to bother that later, Kyoki took small bites out of his puff, watching the ceiling wonderingly.
