"Temper Temper" Cadyn growled at the gaping shark that had pushed her head above water with her interest. He wasn't angry with her and didn't take the threat personally but he wanted a bite first....he sank his teeth into the fleshy part of the man's calve and grinned around the blood staining his mouth. He tore out a chunk of muscle, knowing that the man would not be able to escape the predator in the water. He smirked happily and dropped the man unceremoniosly into the water while he swallowed his bite. Huh that man DID taste sweeter...interesting. The wound that he had inflicted wouldn't bleed enough to kill the man for hours yet but it made the prince happier and satisfied that male voice in his mind that had been angry over the attack on other females of his kind. Seemed that no matter how civilized the Mer there was still that predator lurking nearby. He leapt into the water about ten feet from the now thrashing man and shifted once more in front of him. He wanted to see this show but blinked in surprise and refocused on Mercedes. He cursed again and called out to Connor telepathicly knowing that water carries sound. "Come Mercedes needs your assistance getting to a healer." he said. He would take her himself but he had to stay here with Eden lest she get out of control..see even if you were a shifter, a shark could go into a blood rage and that could be potentially problematic for the humans arriving to collect the waste.

Conner's wavy brown hair swirled softly in the water as he nodded, "Yes my prince." He said before he swam towards Mercedes (she is in water correct?) And delicately hooked one of his arms around her waist and draped her other arm over his neck. "I've got you." He said in his calm groff tone.

Swiftly Andrea swam up out of no where, I smelled the blood She communicated, blue eyes bright with worry and caution, What happened?

Mercedes breathing turned ragged and she sank into the sandy pebbles and sat down. It was too exhausting to float any longer. Her eyes dulled. No, stop. She blinked and blinked, trying to restrengthen herself. Muttering a curse beneath her breath at her lack of energy. (Yeah) Mercedes was calmed alittle but was still angry at herself for appearing weak around Cadyn and now him.. Conner.

~Eden~

Knowing the danger that her firend was in, Eden just let the man float there. Friends first, no matter how tastey the man could be. That and she knew that he couldn't swim. Swimming quickly towards Mercedes, she swam around her, trying to figure out what was wrong with her. Are you okay? She was worried, that was until she sensed the blood that was draining from her meal. everything in her mind just went blank.

Mercedes nodded painfully "Yeah.." She tried to say, but it came out in a whisper.

Conner held onto Mercede's gently and firmly as he backed away softly from Eden, glancing at Caydn and Andrea for a little help, he could sense when a shark's instincts began to take control, right now his priority was to keep Mercedes safe. "I've gotcha." He said quietly, his green eyes never leaving Eden.

Andrea tensed, watching Eden with worry.

Mercedes tensed "I don't think she'll attack, but I'm not sure," she strained out and glanced at her bleeding tail. She inhaled a frightened breath and tried not to appear weak and was mentally kicking herself.

(Sigh. I give up. Message me when your guys mission is over and I'll post then. I don't feel like trying to jump in at this point and I honestly don't see how i would even if I had the inclination to do so)

Cadyn watched Eden carefully and motioned to Conner "You need to get her out of here before more of that poison gets into her wound. Andrea? You need to back off a bit warrior. Eden may be going into a thrall and your in the line of fire." he pointed out as his tail flicked and he circled the large female shark. "Come now Eden Finish the meal I provided for you" he nodded towards the man that was struggling to stay a float. "If you don't hurry he may drown before you get to hurt him and we all know that you like them better still wiggling."
