Elque didn't change her form but kept sinking to the bottom, till her feet hovered above the sand and she pushed up from the bottom and swam forward her eyes scanning the sand for any pretty shells. When every she found a shell or piece of broken off coral, her finger's untied the bag at her hip and slipped in the prize and every now and then she would have to breach the surface for air (With the help of her brother). While she did this her brother swam around aimlessly, every now and then leaping from the water- basically amusing himself by doing tricks.

Cadyn blinked and turned his attention back to Eden. "Done with what?" he glanced down in the next second and frowned a bit more. There were times when Eden interested him in a primal and social level but at other times like now, when she displayed that almost child-like innocence it made him feel like an old lecher. He glanced away immediately and dug his claws into the palms of his hands though they did not puncture considering Mer skin was thicker than human. "Very nice." he said and sighed after glancing at the sky. "I'll have to meet with my father again soon."

Andrea swam quietly as she wound her way through the ocean floor softly and quietly. She was still a little shaken after the insident with Eden and Caydn.

Connor chuckled, "It's not stupid, kinda cute." He admitted with a shrug.

A little shade of pink crept in to her cheeks and she looked away. It cleared and she looked back at him. "Really? You think so.. Mostly it drives people away," she said softly

And with a few short seconds, Eden turned back to normal. Well, back to her kind of normal. "Sorry about that. Sometimes I don't know what gets into me when I start to act like that." She explained with an embarrassed smile. "I don't mean to bother or anything, but what do you two need to talk about?" She asked. Making a face, Eden had to get her legs out of the prison she made. What was she thinking when she did this? Sighing, Eden wiggled and moved her body to get her legs free, almost as a wave had gone through her. Freeing herself, Eden smiled apologetically at Cadyn.

He shrugged, "Eh I can get jealous easily too, depends on how close I feel to a person I guess." He admitted.

Mercedes nodded "Really it could be with anyone necessarily," she said with an embarrassed smile. She looked at her tail and flicked it was she swam along side Conner.

Cadyn smiled but didn't say anything about her behavior. "You must understand that I can't tell you anything specific...at least not without permission considering I am not King yet?" at her continued silence he took that as a yes and continued to speak. "Well today I have to work with my father on learning all of the laws..both Mer and human. Then later I will be required to do other things..more private things if you will. I will be required to take a mate or mates depending on my flavor to become king. That is why I do not think it will be for a good long while." he explained.

Eden couldn't help but to speak without thinking it through. "How long will you be gone?" She asked. But as soon as it did, she gasped quietly and slapped her hand over her mouth. "Sorry for asking. I guess I've just gotten so used to you." She explained as she cupped some water into her hands and poured them over her legs. Eden had never spent so much time out of her shifted form, and she felt slightly weird. Deciding to ignore that, she continued to speak. "I feel so comfortable with you. Its kind of odd for me, I guess. Since the only time I feel this close with someone is when I am with my family."
