Eli and Elque were sitting on a rock, their eyes intently scanning the horizon. Elque wore a modest two piece swimsuit that only exposed her midriff and was colored in the likeness of a dolphin, a greyish black back and white on the front, her hair was tied back in a thick braid and her shell bag was tied around her waist. Eli wore like-colored board shorts that exposed his muscled body. "We should head to the palace- this is our first day of training." Eli pointed out boredly. With a small smile Elque looked at her brother "That isn't till later." She insisted, as she allowed herself to slip into the water with a small splash. Shaking his head, Eli stood, his eyes still scanning the horizon, then he dived into the water after his twin. He was a dolphin before he hit the water

Connor blinked, "Maybe we're more alike than we think." He suggested.

Mercedes shrugged and looked at him "Maybe, I've never gotten along well with people," she admitted in a soft voice.

He softly nudged her in comfort, "It's okay," He said softly, "I understand." He said shyly.

Mercedes smiled "I tend to get mad, or jealous too easily.." She said and a shade of pink embarrassment crept into her cheeks.

Eden nodded and started to play with the sand, covering her legs. She sighed without thinking about it, enjoying the feeling of wet sand on her legs. "I'm surprised you haven't noticed. So many mermaids and shifters have the biggest crush on you. It's no joke." Eden said, a laugh following soon after. Once her feet and calves were covered with wet sand, Eden started to work on her knees and thighs.

"Oh?" he frowned a bit puzzled. "I don't usually have a ton of free time..always doing SOMETHING. Perhaps that is why I've never noticed." his face was it's usual somber/stoic self and he leaned back and glanced at the horizon as he became lost in his thoughts. His shoulders rolled and flexed before he splashed himself with the water he scooped up with his large black tail.

Connor blinked with a soft chuckle, "Really now? Why's that?" He asked with curiosity quirped in his voice.

Eden let out a loud squeal of surprise as she heard his tail splash. "Well, you are going to rule this kingdom soon, so I'm not surprised that you are so busy." She said with a shrug as she put the last handful of sand needed to cover her skin. She smiled with a child like pride that she was able to cover her legs completely with sand. "Done~!" Eden claimed happily.
