Tobias just stayed there, sitting still, listening to the people. His boss slowly walked over, bending down in one knee in a little puddle of blood, ruining his trousers. The boss of operations here at the restaurant...his name was Cody Williams. He was always so nice to Tobias and treated him like a son, since he had no sons...just three daughters. That was a different story, though.
"Tobias," Mr. Williams began with a sigh, helping Tobias up slowly, a little bit of blood smearing into his helping hand. "You do know that you've just raised a warning on yourself...right?" Williams had the courtesy to keep this a quiet conversation, but a lot of others didn't have the courtesy to keep their traps shut.
"I-I know...I'm not sure exactly why I helped." Tobias was being pushed and slightly dragged outside by his boss, but he knew his intentions were only for the best. There were too many people who would probably be biased now inside, and there was still Sawyer. He didn't know if she had gone far or not, but he bet to himself silently that she didn't get too far. She was pretty hurt inside, she wouldn't magically heal if she walked through the door.
Upon the two passing the whole scene behind them, leaving the waiters shocked and the people to their gossip, they both stepped out of the door, instantly spotting Sawyer's body on the ground. Tobias couldn't help but look on, a little shocked as well as feeling guilty for not helping, and sort of regretting even talking to her in the first place. He didn't know if this could of been stopped or not, but maybe if he hadn't been so friendly and talked to her, it would all be different. She could of gone on with her business, and he could just be working right about now, not questioning himself and being so confused. "Williams....what if she's dead?" He asked plainly, looking towards his boss. His boss could only give him a shrug, so Tobias bent down and put his hand on her back lightly. "S-Sawyer?"

Auryn listened to him, surprised at him blurting out so much so quickly. It only made her chuckle, though, her hand reaching the back of her head as she laughed. "The Resistance, eh?" She found it rather interesting that a loyalty would be thinking about such a thing, but she didn't scold him for it. Hey, it was a plus for her. Convince a loyalty to see the light, maybe take him to Jay once she did? Heck, it'd add on to recruits. How could her leader say no?
"Hmm, well, some people pay attention to the details, they question if things could be different." Auryn said, using it as a sort of answer to him. "Some people are scared to think differently...some people can't even think differently." She was trying to find a good enough answer for him without plainly saying, "Oh hey! I'm part of the Resistance!" It was proving to be a tough thing for her to do, but she was determined not to say something like that yet. She didn't know at all if anyone would listen in on them, especially anyone who had specific orders to kill anyone who were members, recruits. Right now, she wasn't in the mood to cause any trouble...at least, trouble that didn't help out with her cause.
"Why do you come here to think about them? Why not just do regular work like the rest of us?" Auryn looked to him, a questioning expression written on her face, a hand on her hip as she shifted her wait from one leg to the other. "Did something happen with you and the Resistance?"
