Todd kept running his palm back and forth the carpet feeling the softness of it. He looked at her then, "Todd" he said, looking at her. "My name is Todd" he looked at her curiously, "your name... What is it?"

Serena nodded, looking at him as she memorized his name. "My name is Serena." she replied softly, catching herself on stroking the carpet again with her hand. "I'm a wolf." she added.

Todd nodded, "nice to meet...you? I guess..." he mumbled and frowned a little, 'a wolf.... She is enemy...' he thought and looked at her for a moment before shaking his head, they were told not to fight even though their instincts shouted them to do so, "I am...." he thought for a moment, "bobcat... A bobcat.."

"Cats are cool." Serena replied with a small smile. Even though her instinct rose deep inside her, telling her to attack the guy, she could easily push it away. Her old scientist had somehow managed it to let her human brain control her animal instinct if she wanted. She was taught at young age not to attack other people. Mainly because the other shifters in the lab she was in were all cats. She was used to live around them, and would only attack them if they attacked her.

Todd nodded slowly relaxing some his previously slightly tense body, "thanks..." he smiled a little, "wolves.... Wolves are cool too" he said softly and frowned for a moment, "howls are cool...." he said absently turning his attention back to the carpet, "this makes me sleepy..."

Serena smiled shyly at him. "Thank you." She kept stroking the carpet and soon lay down again. "I know... It's so soft..." she murmured.

Zach gently put her head down to she was staring at the counter, so he could get an exact measurement. He smiled back, glad to have a rather cooperative shifter. He put the rest of the tape along her back and then put his thumb where the top of her head was. He took the tape off and looked at the number, scribbling it down.

Todd smiled a little and started purring a little then and actually laid down as well, "hum.... I have a question for you, Mrs. Serena" he looked at her, "what are you doing out here...alone?"

Serena faced Todd as he laid down on the carpet, listening to his question. "Nattalie told me I could go explore..." she replied after a moment. "Why are you here alone?"

He nodded slowly then assuming that if she got permission from a person then this person was probably her scientist.. He rolled a little and stared up at the ceiling, " 'cause I want to..." he said sighing.
