Maria sat on Griffin's bed hidden behind a pillow her large blue eyes engrossed in the magic TV. She would flip through the channels getting excited every time a new picture popped up on the screen. Finally she stopped on a cooking show that was showing how to make a chocolate cake. After time she would creep up a little closer till finally she was sitting criss cross looking directly up at the TV.

Griffin walked about until he finally found the kitchen. It was empty, dark, and smelled of burnt food. He flipped on a light near the door, and walked to the fridge. After a moment of rummaging, he found expired milk and frozen bread. "Ew." He said as he closed it quickly. "Ah, ramen noodles." He said, picking up a bag.
