~ The Ring Leader ~
I grinned as I watched Tock from the sidelines (is that alright to have that as a nickname for her?). She was magnificent and always left the audience in awe, they believed it was all illusion which is why we kept many animals in the back. That way we kept up the illusion of the illusions. No one could know that we were actually freaks. After all it was just a show.

~ Winged Girl ~
I was stretching backstage, it was almost my time to shine, I wriggled my back muscles enough to let my wings free. They stretched out magnificently behind me the tips almost reach the floor as the arch of the red and purple feathers almost reached the top of my head. I grinned at myself in the mirror, frowned slightly before plastering on a fake smile.

~ Shapeshifter Boy ~
I was singing to myself, I shapeshifted into different celebrities and singers. Practising my act. It really made the audience giggle but that's not what I wanted. I wanted to be taken seriously, I had an extra song practised that I'd just sing myself at the end of my performance on my guitar. I just needed the guts to do it.

The 3 (Jake, Silas, and Andrew) took a seat in the audience. Jake and Silas were both excited as they waited to watch. Andrew watched with them and smiled slightly at how happy they were. It had been a while since Jake and Silas laughed. Silas did smile, but it was more half-hearted. He turned his attention to the Circus and waited patiently.

I entered the ring and gestured towards the audience with my cane. "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN." I grinned, "Prepare to be astounded!" I made a dove appear and fly off, "and to be amazed." I made flowers fall into the audience from the ceiling with a wave of my hand. "And welcome to CIRQUE Á LA FREAK!!" I exited the theatre ring and lead the next act on which was a freak who could fly. Hey, if they're really a freak they're accepted.
