Santi gave a non-committal grunt as the rabbit hopped away, nibbling grass as it went. "Well, I've got work to do. You still want to help or...?"

Silas nodded and glanced at the bunny before turning and nodding again. "Yep! I wanna help!"

OOC: Any chance of a time-skip? I can't see this leading anywhere particularly productive.

Silas purred, twirling around. "The animals were so cute!" he said, hugging himself. "Are you specifically supposed to feed them or do you guys switch off or something?"

"We have a rotation, though some people don't really care much for the animals, so they swap for other tasks." Santi gave a yawn, stretching his arms above his head. "I'm gonna turn in now. You already auditioned with Brendon?"

Silas shook his head. "We're supposed to tomorrow morning. I hope we pass! There's really nothing else we can think of to do... I mean, I wanted to be a doctor, but I never really..." He started mumbling, looking down at his feet.

"Yeah," Santi agreed, his expression dimming visibly. He could still be living at home. With his father's shadow over him. Maybe being here wasn't as bad, despite Brendon. "Be careful about him by the way. I said it before but... He's kind of shifty. Don't trust what he says, don't trust what you think or what your friends do when you're near him." Brendon's power was phenomenally subtle, someone who didn't know the extent of the Ringleader's abilities could get into trouble very quickly.
