(Alright, we are getting this thread started.

Bilbo looked at the other hobbit, breathing heavily. Why can't the other hobbits understand that they need to leave the Shire? What is going on is not just bad luck that is seen here and there, this was real danger that was threatening the Shire. Every hobbit that is left in Hobbiton, knows that hobbits have been vanishing left and right, with out a trace with their belongings still in place. Even Bilbo knew that they did not just walk out, they would have taken every possession they can with them, not just leave them behind.
The hobbit turned to walk away then turned to look at the three hobbits that he was talking to, "Fine, stay here and wait until it is too late to leave the Shire safely. Good luck on making it out alive." With that Bilbo turned around and started making his way up the hill to Bag End, there he was gathering what he needed to make the long journey to Erebor, he knew that they would offer Hobbits shelter. But he was not so sure if Elves or Men will bother with giving Halflings shelter, even temporary shelter. Bilbo did not meet anyone's gaze as he walked along as he was so focused on thinking about what has been going on in the past six months, first it was not so bad, then it got progressively worse to the point that it is too dangerous to wonder off without some form of protection.
The old hobbit stopped as one of his cousins, two small hobbit clinging to her dress, "Belle. Please you must pack the things you will need for a long trip, I know of a place that we can take shelter at until what ever it is that is going on here, is gone and the Shire is safe again. Please you must listen and pack."
The she hobbit nodded, "Alright Bilbo.. just where is it that you will take us to? How long will the trip take?" Belle asked.
Bilbo shrugged, "Any where from six months.. maybe we can cut it down to three if we make good distances." He looked at the little hobbits that suddenly came up and gave him a hug each, wrapping their little arms around his legs, "I will be taking as many as I can to Erebor.. even if I must travel back and forth to do so." Bilbo told her as he picked up both of the little hobbits, "Hello Bingo and Rango." He said with a wide smile to his small little cousins, " Cousin Bilbo has to go home and pack, I will be seeing you tomorrow." With that the hobbit put the two hobbits down and looked to Belle, "Be ready to leave by sometime tomorrow." He watched as Belle nodded and took her children into her home.
Bilbo turned around and finished his walk to Bag End and stopped at the gate, taking a good look around him. It pained him that Hobbiton has changed so much. Everyone has become suspicious of one another, and even hostile.
