"I know." Roger said, breath growing ragged. "But I'm afraid if I forget her, I'll forget my dad as well. I don't want to forget him."

[EO+RS]

"You don't have to forget your dad." said Lestrade. "You don't have to do anything. But you can stop letting what your mum did affect you. She's ancient history."

[Kanaria]

Roger was fighting hard not to let memory ingulf her. "Everything is connected for me." She said softly. "I step back, and it all falls into a cloth. I'm trying to stop letting it affect me, I really am. I swear I'm trying. So I'm bad at this. Forgive me, I'm young."

[EO+RS]

"Practice makes perfect." replied Lestrade. "And everything is forgiven for you. At least to me." He reached around her and pulled her in towards him in a hug.

Roger laughed a little as she was squished against him. She opened her very teal eyes and smiled up at him. "Thank you." She said. "I suppose thats been part of whats been bugging me, being all scarred up, feeling like I'm broken..."

[EO+RS]

Lestrade chuckled. "We all feel that way sometimes." he said, kissing her cheek. "Then we find something that makes us whole again."

[Kanaria]

Roger closed her eyes and giggled as he kissed her. She was feeling extremely ticklish right now, which was slightly weird for her. She placed the hand Greg wasn't holding on his belly, not tickling quite yet. "Thanks, love, for coming along." She said, happily.

[EO+RS]

Lestrade smiled, taking their clasped hands and putting them on Roger's belly. "Yes. Thank you." he said with a smile.

Roger looked down, not having expected that, then up, a bright pink glow in her cheeks. She, unable to speak, kissed her love tenderly. A question nibbled faintly at her heart, though it wasn't a Question. It was a silly little kitten type question.
