"I offered." Luca stated simply, "He was dyeing, I couldn't let him die."

''Do whatever you want with me, I do apologise for what I had done and am willing to take responsibility for it. '' Jac said, gazing steadily into Salm's eyes

Salm ground his teeth. He couldn't get after the vampire, Luca had offered. He turned and glared at his brother. "You could have died! Putting that much stress on your heart, and you obviously don't have your medicine with you do you?!" Luca flinched, he really hadn't wanted Jac to know about his condition, at least not yet.

Jac frowned again. ''Heart condition? Luca, what is going on?'' Jac asked in a serious voice.

''Luca, you should have told me...If I did kill you, if by any chance something did happen to you, I would never forgive myself.'' Jac's voice was pained, he closed his eyes, his face was sad.

"Sorry. Its a family thing. Salm has it to so did our mom. Ours are far less severe than her's was. Takes a lot more stress for us to get the attacks than it did for her." He explained, watching Jac's reaction carefully.
"Here have one of my tablets." Salm said softly handing a little light blue pill to Luca.

Jac opened his eyes, ''do you have any idea about how much I worry about you?'' Jac said quietly, then turned awayed from them.

Luca gave Salm a pleading look. Salm pulled his covers over Luca and put Luca's favorite mix cd into the player. As he left the room he turned off half the lights hoping Luca would at least get some rest.

"I am sorry Jac. There was just so much going on, I just wanted everyone to be safe. Telling anyone would have just slowed us down." He practically whispered as the stereo speakers thumped lightly with the beat of Lady GaGa's Poker Face.

((I just had to put Poker Face in there. Its pretty much Luca's theme song.))

Jac sighed, ''get some sleep.'' He turned off the CD player, ''are you still cold?'' he asked.

Luca briefly wondered if he was interpreting that question correctly. "A little." He certainly hoped he was.
