I waved my hand dismissively, as if to make the problem go away. "It's nothing." I say, "just some mercenary work." I yawned and watched Altaïr head to the woods, then I glanced back at ms. O' Rouke. I tried a smile, but tit didn't feel right. Like I wasn't meant to be happy.

She sighed and looked around the bar. "You kill other people?" her voice was so innocent, so blind and sweet. It'd be obvious to any stranger that Diarmuid does his best to filter the world for her, only letting her see good and honesty. "You don't deserve that life. Stripping people of their husbands, fathers, sons or brothers. Every man has a family to mourn over him. What good do you see in killing people? I can tell you aren't happy with your life. Why live the way you do if it makes you so cold and lonesome?"

Altair dare not move. Her muscle cramped up for not being able to move. She looked around to see if any other men or people were coming.

Andres rode I'm companions silence with the man, selling to fur and meat in one to to a trader. He hopped off and smiled at him "there is I pay but the reward is much better than money." He said and untied the rope, tossing it to him and rolling up the blanket. "I really must get going." He frowned and held his hand out "nice to meet you, friend. If your even in the frontier head to a homestead by the cliff. I'll be there."

a child burst into the bar, sobbing. Fillan shot up and crouched by him, stroking the boys hair. "What happened../?" He said gently and the boY started sobbing harder. Between choked cries he explained the redcoats found them, and killed one of them. Fillans eyes widened as he shot up, drink and food forgotten. "Where?" He growled and the boy tugged his hand to lead him away.

He smiled with a kind nod "I'll think about it." So, he now knew the location to their home, or at least Andres's. This would come in handy, he'd tell the others of this the next morning. "Well, I'll be heading off to Boston. I'm in need of a good drink and a new pair of boots." He stopped, feeling a tense life form around them. Something was watching. He didnt make his awareness obvious, for that would make the watcher more careful with their actions. He stayed there, not looking around him, but secretly prepared for any attack.

I just stared. I shook my head, then say, "you're right, I don't live a very happy life. But it's something I can't share with you. These people we kill are evil, nothing more, nothing less." I stood up, sighing.

Fillan turned to Connor, eyes frantic. "I know we didn't get off right. But there are redcoats murdering children. Please help." He said as he hoisted the boy into his arms, trying to calm him. He knew he was running out of time. Quickly. "Follow me. Please!" He said and bolted out of the bar, to a rather bad neighborhood.

"We need honest men." Andres smiled and offered him some coin "for helping me?" He said and rode closer so he could reach it. (Wb)

Altair narrowed her eyes. She studed the other man. She then relaxed slightly. She was also prepared for a battle.She couldn't grip her sword or knife for she was in the trees. For once she was glad for the dark colored robes she is wearing.

I almost said something, but he left before I could. I needed to help, even if this man stole from me. After all, if gotten my money back. I looked at miss O'Rouke. "I'm sorry, I must go help. I was nice meeting you." I kissed her hand briefly before bolting out of the Tavern.

She watched him quietly, grabbing his shoulder "What else have you lied about in the few last seconds that we talked? Do you think me blind or stupid? You are the son of a man I considered a friend, yet a threat to my own and my brother's life." she said this quite calmly for an unarmed woman, having no chance of surviving if he did decide to attack her "No man is evil. That is where you are mistaken." she looked him head to toe "Stay away from my brother." she said with a threatening tone, before letting go of him.
