Zak was feeding, in an abandoned cellar one the human family that had disturbed his sleep--he didn't like his beauty rest being interrupted. Blood and gore splattered his mandibles as he fed, saving the young man he had paralyzed for last--for a host.

Melanthae was smoking a cigarette, leaning in the darkness of any alley, her sword slung across her back and her trench coat hiding her features.

Mickey's eyes darted from human to human. Her fangs bared, she was hungry. She walked up to a man, and gave him a tiny bite. He became dozey, and she led him back to her lair. She led him into an abandoned factory and into the basement. Its was lined with silver. Her web. She raised a hand, and then covered him in the sivler sunstance, pushing him into the web.

Zak was finished--the basement would be where he would weave this boy up, he was already impregnated--the young would grow inside him, feeding off his body for a few months then eat its way out. He couldn't help but laugh, strolling out into the night.

Melanthae ground out her smoke beneath a combat boot--a gun for hire.

Mickey drained him, and them injected him with eggs through his neck. Hopefully, they would live, grow. She lifted him up easily and spun him onto the web along with other bodies. She then covered him with the web, and left. She walked out onto the street, a small smile on her face.

Zak was now female, a fox haired woman with clinging curves when his spine stiffened--he turned slowly. His eyes, now compound and alien, narrowed--zeroing in on a female. A predator.

She watched, that was what she did--Melanthae could see the life lines on both the redhead and the other--both weren't human. Her grey eyes narrowed.
