Zay just kept running around screaming. sadly she kept accidently bumping into the lady with the baby. horrific memories from smeetsitting would not let her calm down.

Kit ran after Zay first since she could see her. she held her hands up so Zay could see her when she was far enough away from the baby. "Zay! calm down! are you okay?" she asked.

Zay
Zay was too far gone to stop now "THEY'RE EVERY WHERE" she yelled. she was slowing down and gasping. Zay wasn't the most physically fit irken.

Kit grabbed her freind's arms and said, "calm down Zay! it's gone! just calm down." she softened her voice.

Jade came back to the same isle as them, holding her arm and wimpering.

Zay struggled at Kit's grasp but slowed down, gasping and panting. "the baby." she gasped "it's like a smeet... BUT HUMAN." she forced herself not to cry. "I didn't know humans had them too." she said in a shaky voice.

"well course we have them." Jade said, gathering herself. "what's wrong with them anyway?" she asked.
"Zay has...issues with them." Kit simply put, trying not to excite Zay again. "but it's gone now." Kit continued to Zay, "just calm down."

Zay looked around "it is?" she asked "oh good it is. oh my tallest, it was looking at me." she said

Kit was glad her friend calmed down and noticed Jade's arm. "why did it hurt you too?" she asked. "i don't think it's supposed to hurt humans."
"i don't know." Jade answered, still rubbing her arm.

Zay sat down and looked at the shelf. "ooh what's this?" she asked. on the shelf was a bunch of solar powered flashlights. she grabbed one and giggled "mini solar panels."

Kit laughed. "glad to see your back to normal!"

Jade looked down at her arm. the pink marks still hurt, but less now. now it was just a throbbing hurt, not too discomforting, but not unnoticed. why does it hurt? she repeated in her mind.
