Landon chuckled when he felt her heart pounding. He closed his eyes and kissed her back, tightening his grip around her.

Alice blushed. Taken back by this sudden shyness, she pressed against him.

"Love you, Alice," Landon murmured, still holding her close. He closed his eyes as he snuggled himself up against her lightly.

Alice closed her eyes too, a few tears streaming down her face, "i love you too." She said her voice steady. She finally realized Landon was everything she needed. Everything she wanted. She was so happy. There was no chance of her leaving him ever again.

Landon grinned down at her, but it faded when he saw her tears. He wasn't sure if they were tears of joy or of sadness. "You okay, Alice? You're crying." He wiped her tears away with gentle brushes of his hand.

Alice nodded, "i'm just really happy." She explained burying her head in his chest.

"I always love to see you happy," Landon replied and hugged her tightly. "And I thought those were tears of sadness. I was wondering what I did that made you cry."

"You never make me cry because i'm sad." Alice said.

"Well, I did when you were caught between Leon and me," Landon mumbled with a sigh. "I'm not sure if I can forgive myself for it. I just wanted you back in my arms so badly."

"That. Was not entirlly your fault." Alice reminded. "And i'm here now, forever and always." she then made a face, "Crap." She said.
