He gave a weak smile and then lifted himself up, his hands on either side of her face. His eyes darted from hers and to the man lying on the ground. His heart skipped a beat as he saw her lying there instead of the man. He pulled away and stood up to his full height. 'Where is everyone?'

Kay looked at Hawk shyly. "I don't know where they are. But Kat went to get medical help," she said. "And I have a feeling Kat has something to hide..." she added thoughtfully.

Brenda coughed, the overpowering smell polluting her lungs. She quickly squirmed free of his grip, catching him just a bit off guard. Her feet had no more run left in them, and it didn't seem like she could out run him. Still, she splashed the water in his eyes and sprinted down the block. "Anybody." she yelled, her voice rough and tired.

Don't get hurt!' he said, before turning on his heel and feeling the dark emotions overcome him again as he ran into the same alley as Brenda. 'Brenda get to the side!' he roared, his arm outsretched with an orb already clutched in his hand.
