Kalona sighed. He leaned back against the wall, breathing deeply he built up heat, then noticed a camera.....they were watching him.

Kay ran around a corner, slamming into another girl. Her breath left her in a huff and she fell hard onto the sidewalk. She looked up to see the other girl had also fallen. "I'm so sorry!" Kay exclaimed, rushing to help the girl up. "Don't worry about it," the girl said,"Guess you're in a hurry, huh?" Kay nodded. She looked behind her and saw the black suited man had slowed, probably not wanting to make a scene. "Come on," she said, grabbing the girl's wrist and pulling her into a restaraunt. She sat her down at a both in the corner. "Do you know who those black suited men are?" Kay questioned. The girl nodded. "They came to my sister's school a few years back to take this kid to an asylum because he thought he had powers. How crazy is that?" the girl laughed, By the way, the name's Kat." Kat extended her hand. Kay shook it. "Nice to meet you. My name's Kay. We're kind of running from those men outside. They want us. But I can't tell you what for. It's kind of a secret. But would you be willing to help us out?" Kay asked. Kat nodded. "Sure! But can I ask, who is the guy you're with?" she added. "That's Hawk. He's running from the men too," Kay explained, somehow really trusting this girl.

Hawk pushed away from Kay and the girl and walked back into the street. His eyes had turned deepest black. He turned to face the man who had stopped in his tracks. Hawk turned and walked purposefully into a nearby empty alley. The man followed as Hawk knew he would. At the end of the alley, Hawk turned around, his eyes still black. With a hiss, Hawk threw a small orb at the man. It hit it's mark. An explosion ripped the man, glass shattered and the tiles of the buildings rained down on the two men.

Brenda looked up, the faint sound of glass pounding against th ground. She peered around, then scurried towards the noise. A hand grabbed her from behind and she twisted free. When she turned around, she saw the man from earlier, a wicked grin on his face. Brenda gulped, darting for any civilians watching them. Seeing none, she sent a whip of water in the mans face. He flinced but now his grin faded and was replaced with a look of hatred. She took off, him close behind.

Kay looked at Kat. "So sorry. I do not know what has gotten into him. Come with me," she said, and Kat whisked herself out of the booth and followed Kay. Kay ran toward the crashing sound she heard and found a BIG pile of glass, which had blood splatters on it. She saw Hawk standing at the end of the alley. Kat's mouth dropped open in disbelief, while Kay stared at Hawk with a worried expression on her face. "Oh- Oh My Gosh! Hawk? Did you do this?" Kay asked in horror. She clamped her hand over her mouth, her eyes widening with fear. No, she thought, No! He wouldn't kill anyone... he wouldn't... kill... Her thoughts trailed off, taking Kay to things she probably didn't want to think.

Hawks eyes grew normal again and he collapsed on the ground. The wave of deep hatred ebbed away from his soul. All those memories slipping back into the abyis of his mind. Panting, he looked at his arms which had shards of glass sticking out of them. What had he done?

Kay tried her best to hop her way over the glass to Hawk. She saw his arms and the glass sticking out of them. "Hawk?!" she cried, slowly starting to sob. She tentatively crouched down next to him and put a hand on his back. "Hawk? Are- are you okay? Come on. We need to take you to a hospital or something," she urged. Looking over at Kat, she called out,"Kat! Go call an ambulance! He's going to need serious medical attention!" Kay combed Hawk's fluffed black hair back, murmurring,"Stay with me Hawk. It's going to be alright." She said it as if she didn't believe what she had said. A single tear traced its way down her cheek...

Hawk shook his head. Why had all those dark emotions suddenly taken hold of him? With a shaken hand, he pulled out the shards from his arms. Blood dripped down his arms. He shook his head again 'No,' he said 'I don't know if I can control it'

((Sorry guys, I was gone at a two-week camp without Internet, phone, iPods, nothing. But I'm back now. So Kalona was taken, hmm? Got it:))

Summer woke in a leather-covered limousine with at least six, dark-suited men watching her. As soon as they saw her eyes flutter, they pressed a cloth soaked in a sickly sweet liquid to her nose. Her last thought was, We must be really important... and then all was still.

Numbness... dark... ouch, not so numb anymore... flickerings of light... eyelids opening... pain... brilliant light... her orbs? no... fluorescent bulbs burning her eyes... try again... can't move anything... darkness....

Summer woke with her body throbbing with pain, and alone in a plain, white room beeping with different monitors. She did a check, and none of them were attached to her, but getting up (not a pleasant experience) and further investigation showed that they monitored the temperature, moisture percentage, light sources, and others, all having to do with elements. Her jaw dropped. Someone wants us. Someone very, very powerful wants to control us. But who?
