"If you say so.." Alex replied, slowly grasping the idea of Jeff being down there. "Do we just yell into the sewer? People are going to think that we've gone.. insane." She looked to Aya before back to the entrance to the sewers with a frown. She sighed before calling into the sewers, "Jeff! Get your butt out here!"

Jeff had continued walking through the sewers before hearing a familiar voice ''Alex?'' he questioned himself, he sighed before morphing into his shadow form and appearing in front of his friend.

Alex took a step back when he had appeared in front of her, not wanting to trip on the sidewalk. "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you, right?" She gave him a concerned look, although she knew he could probably take care of himself better then anyone here.

Jeff nodded softly avoiding eye contact with the girl. ''Yeah i'm fine...'' he muttered before finally looking up. ''Why did you come after me anyway? I'll end up getting you killed..''

She crossed her arms over her chest, which was just about the only thing comfortable about this situation. "You're a friend. I don't normally make friends easily.." She looked back the direction that they came, trying to spot Toby and she frowned, catching sight of his silhouette. "We really need to get going.."

Jeff chuckled softly ''that makes two of us..'' he said before spotting the silhouette making his eyes widen as one twitched. He tried to look away as he felt 'the feeling' coming over him again but it was to late, he smirked before walking towards it ''I think i'll stay here for a while..'' he muttered as he approached the boy.


{The part I was thinking of was when Jeff got slashed by Scarecrow (or in this case Toby) and injured. After a while in the comic Jeff faints after blood loss.}

Alex smiled before realizing that he had already seen Toby approaching. Shoot! She thought, watching his expression change, and she took a step back with Aya. "Don't follow him, alright? We'll help when he needs it.." She truthfully didn't want to risk the safety of Aya and herself unless it's called for.

Toby

Toby walked with his hands in his pockets as he watched Jeff actually walk in his direction. He tilted his head to the side slightly in a questioning manner, wondering why on earth that would be. His mind clear when he saw the expression on the boy's face, though. "You again? I thought you ran off. Thanks for finding me though, Jeff."

''B-But what if he gets hurt?!'' she asked fear for her male friend's safety in her voice.

''Oh that's no problem...I came back to finish what I started. What's wrong? You look sleepy..Maybe you'd like to..GO TO SLEEP'' He responded, smiling that un-human smile as he slashed at toby with his Knife.

"Then we go beat that guy up, okay? Jeff can handle himself," Alex replied softly as she looked down to the younger girl beside her. Or at least I hope so..

Toby

Toby skidded back, his foot dragging on the pavement with a devious grin. "I can't sleep at night," he said with a laugh as he rounded at Jeff with hooked punch directed at his jaw.

Aya flinched as the boy lashed out at Jeff. She knew Jeff was tough but he could only take care of so much.
