Hotaru's blush deepened with his words, only making her more annoyed and agitated with Axess. "You should definitely leave now." she snarled, fighting back whatever part of her did wish for him to stay longer. He seemed different. Smug, but different. That intrigued her, the fact that he wasn't a hunter out to cut off her head as a trophy.

She shut her eyes, turning her head away from him. "If you would step away, then I'll let you stay." she said through clenched teeth. This boy very obviously knew what he was doing, making her weak and peaking her desire. She set her hands on his chest, at first she hadn't intended to do it as an act of defense, but as soon as she realized what she had done, she sent a small shock off electricity through Axess' body. It was hardly enough to hurt, but it was a warning.

Corvo drew in a deep breath with a nod to Clara. After a silent count of three, he bolted out of the door and charged the man he had been exchanging silent words with through their meetings. He growled roughly as he leapt up, locking his jaws on the man's arm after he tried to reach for a knife to fend off the attacking canine. Other hunters hovered nearby, pulling out their weapons after they overcame their momentary paralysis from the sudden appearance of the guardians.

Clara sprang out of the door as fiercely as Corvo. She saw a hunter with his weapon pointed straight at Corvo. She snarled and lunged at the man, catching him off guard. She remembered a show she had seen on police dogs once, so she grabbed the man's arm like she had seen and ripped it back and forth
