She sat on a rock with the sun beating down against her skin. She could feel the warmth seeping into her bones, loosening muscles that were tense and tired from the strain of practicing something new with her element. Anna closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She had her legs crossed under her with her hands in her lap, sitting silently and listening to the birds. She could easily pick up on their fears. With humans, she had to figure it out just like everyone else, though for some reason sometimes animals fears just came to her. She hadn't been sleeping much, the fear of hunters nagging at her thoughts day and night.

He stood at the edge of her lawn, watching as she moved to leave, unaware that he had arrived. A smirk tugged at his lips and he stuck his hands in his pockets. Michael had watched her with the kitten and found himself oddly... charmed. He cleared his throat in the way people do to draw attention to themselves. "Going somewhere?"His voice wasn't at all threatening, more like a curious playfulness.

Destiny stopped when she heard someone speak. She looked over to see a boy at the end of her lawn. She hadn't heard him approach he just seemed to appear out of nowhere. This had to be her gaurdian. "I was just..well I was... leaving to go somewhere. Well nowhere really. Just on a walk I guess." She said. She was rather nervous and shy around new people. A small blush graced her cheeks.

His grin was knowing when he noticed her blush. "I'm Michael, your Guardian." He took a few steps towards her before his eyes moved behind her and his eyebrows raised when his gaze landed softly on the kittens. "Cat person much?" He chuckled.

Destiny nodded. "Yes I adore cats. They are so loyal, and kind, and cuddley." She said. She picked up one of the kittens and began to pet it. Her cats were her best friends. "I hope you like cats. You will be around the alot with me." She said purring along with the kitten.

He chuckled and shook his head softly. "Cuddly huh? Interesting terminology. I just so happen to love cats. But they aren't just fluffy and soft. They are predators. Hunters and fighters. As you said, loyal and protective." He couldn't force himself to lose the smirk that stretched lazily across his face. The smile of a predator who knew it was perfectly unseen, even in plain sight.

Destiny's head tilted a bit to one side. "Yes I guess they are. The perfect night hunters. Great at sneaking up on something silently." Something was in the back of her mind. A few dots she just couldn't connect. What was it? Oh well maybe she would find out later. It was just something in the way he talked about cats. "So if you are my gaurdian what animal are you?" She asked him.

He moved towards again. Prowling with the grace that comes naturally to his kind. There was a fluidity to his movements that just screamed cat. He stopped with just scant inches between them. His eyes flashing a bright green. "I can tell you right now sweetheart, if you like cats then you're going to love me."

It finally hit her. He was a cat. He has the grace, and nature of one. She blushed bright red as he came ever closer. So she had been complimenting him. Not purposely but she still had been. "Your a cat." She said softly. She knew he would hear. He was close enough to and after all he was a cat. "Your eyes are the most beautiful green." She said before she really thought about what she was saying.
