Clara looked up. So this is my "witch". Lovely. She transformed so that she could stand eye-to-eye with the girl. "I don't want to be your enemy," she growled. "I didn't want this, either. It's just something we have to live with. I'll be your equal, a protector of sorts. You watch my back, and I watch yours. No one is better." Clara sighed, and stuck out her hand. "I'm Clara, by the way."

Zach took a sliding step away from the girl, his hands held beside his head in surrender. "No... I can't say that I have, hon. But, you don't want to hurt me." he said, trying to convince her violence was not the best answer. "I might start crying if you hurt me. I am supposed to protect you, but if a abuse is brought about I am able to call off this relationship." There was a distinct joking tone to his voice. He was enjoying this, that was clear to all.

Taru reluctantly shook the Guardian's hand. "Taru." she introduced herself gruffly. She wasn't happy about this, but she respected Clara's response. Perhaps she could learn to put up with her. "Keep that attitude and I'll refrain from electrifying you." she stated, sending a small shock through her palm.

Instantly, Zach took the girl's face in his hands. "Don't you ever say you're not beautiful!" he stated, forcing her to look him in the eyes. "You are gorgeous." he stated. Good ol' Zach. He never failed to make an impression. Whether it was in his flirting attempts, his assumption that everyone loved him, or his hatred of competition, he was one male that most people remembered.

Corvo balanced two warm cups of coffee in one hand. He had managed to get some from the local coffee shop without getting too excited. He stepped beside the tree River sat in front of and looked at the plant she was controlling. "Howdy stranger." he smiled gently and extended out one of the cups of coffee to her. As always, he was still tall and usually a bit intimidating, though he seemed more relaxed than previously.

Hotaru's feet dragged partially as she walked. It had been a long morning for her, her night was tainted with nightmares that kept her from resting. Maybe I'll just get some lunch... She thought to herself, the idea of making the trip as short as possible was sounding better with each tired step. Suddenly, she realized what it was that was on her agenda today. A guardian. She'd get a new guardian. This memory only caused her to be in a slightly sour mood. She didn't need a guardian. She could take care of herself.

River looked up, startled. Her flower shriveled to the ground as she released her 'grip' on it.
"Morning," She said, grabbing one of the coffee cups. "How have you been?" She asked before taking a sip.

Maggie rolled her eyes,chuckling."Call off something that never happened?"She said,pouting playfully.She patted his shoulder,laughing."Crying? Your such a man, and you say your protecting me."Maggie said,shaking her head.

Clara nodded, barely wincing when Taru sent a shock through her palm. "I think my body may have a slight immunity to your power, since I was born with my body knowing what element the person I was bound to would have."

The wolf gave a shrug and leaned his shoulder against the broad tree. "Fine." he answered simply, taking a drink of his own coffee that quickly sent a jolt of energy through him. "How about yourself? Any issues with those freaks?" he returned, mentioning the WHO. He had always seen the name 'The Who' as an old rock band. He felt weird associating the term with people who wished to behead many people.

"Oh it happened, alright." Zach argued. "There is a connection between us. A deep connection, my dear." he said roughly then took a step closer, regaining the space he had created prior. "What does a beautiful girl like you do for fun?" he questioned with a slight hum of enjoyment towards the act.

Taru tilted her head slightly but still smiled. That was a downside for herself. Of course, that did increase the chance of them becoming friends. If she couldn't cause Clara pain, then what was there for the Guardian to get mad about. "Interesting."she mused. "I won't complain about that. Hopefully you'll be able to prove your worth." she clucked.

The Doctor swept a chain of vials and bottles off of his work counter. "Wrong! It's all wrong!" he roared angrily then snapped into a delightful mood. "But, perhaps with the right... No! Failure! I must start over!" his emotions were impossible to keep up with. One minute he was perfectly fine, the next he was on a rampage. Currently, he was trying to perfect a paralysis poison. Various venoms and herbs were the main ingredients in the concoction so far.

"Fine, I suppose. I haven't had any run ins with them, though expect to soon," River said. She placed her cup on the ground, then lifted her hands. A few medium sized rocks floated off the ground as River played with them in the air.

Maggie laughed."I like doing what I please.I'm guessing you use your free time flirting with real pretty girls?"She said,raising a brow.Maggie found it amusing that he was treating her.

"Don't think so negatively." Corvo instructed. Though, he took River's words to heart and tilted his nose skyward, seeing if any scents were carried in the breeze. Nothing one wouldn't expect to find in a forest. "The last I saw them, they ran away with their tails between their legs." he chuckled at the memory. If only the hunters did have tails... that would bring him great joy. "I don't know if they have the guts to make another move."

"Not true." Zach corrected, holding up one finger with a matter-of-fact attitude. "I usually woo girls and make a dollar by playing my guitar. The flirting comes naturally." he winked casually and shifted his gaze down the sidewalk. He leaned to one side to see over Maggie's shoulder. Then, he squinted his eyes and swore he could make out the shape of a group of people dressed in all black. At the time, he thought nothing of it, brushing it off as just some wannabe street gang notorious in the town.
