Platinum moved closer to Wataru. "But you're the smartest person I know! You're not stupid!" She cried, staring up at him.

He looked up. "Thanks. I am?" He sounded genuinely flattered, a faint blush of heat rising to his cheeks.

[dynamite,]

"Yeah, you are!" Plat said firmly, hugging Wataru. "And you're real nice...and sweet, and artistic!"

[mikko;]

Wataru's entire face turned red, as he hugged her back. "T-t-thanks." He stannered. "T-that means a lot coming from you. You're smart too..." He whispered. "And pretty..." He said, sounding almost incomprehensible.

[dynamite,]

Platinums cheeks went pink and she grinned. "I try my best!" She said cheerfully, returning to her own desk. She wrote the answers to a few equations.

Wataru nodded, and started flipping through his textbook, doing more complex problems there.

Platinum rested her head on the table, randomly scribbling equations and answers. She sat bolt upright when the bell went.
